PROLOGUE
A black haired man walked up a flight stairs, rushing through the corridor, and smashing through the doors. He stopped in his mother’s hospital ward, her heart meter slowly beeping. He sat on a chair by his mother’s bed, wiping the tears that lay on his cheek. “Mother…” He held his mother’s hand in his own, “I- I- I don’t want you to die, Mother. I don’t-”
A red haired women walked into the room, who looked at least eight months pregnant. She first stepped over to the bed, respecting Giovanni’s weak mother. She walked over to Giovanni, wrapping her arm round him. “I feel sorry for you, Gio.” She kissed Giovanni on the cheek, “I mean, my mother’s fine and very healthy, but you’re mother is in huge pain.
“I-I can’t say I envy you, but…” Giovanni softly took Arianna’s arm off his shoulder, “What’s it like to have a perfect family, Arianna? To have a healthy family, to have a great relationship… What’s it like to be normal?”
“Gio, you’re normal!” She walked back over to the bed, placing her hand on Giovanni’s mother’s chest, “You’re the most normal person I’ve ever met. You shouldn’t feel bad about your life.” She walked over to Giovanni again, “The key is to not worry.”
The heart meter went slower and slower, beeping every five seconds. “No, Mother! You can’t die on me! Please, stay alive!” The heart meter made a really long beep, pronouncing Giovanni’s mother’s death. “Mother…” He started crying again, walking back over to the window. The teardrops dropped out of the window, landing on the ground. His face flushed with tears, as he stormed out of the room.
“Giovanni!” Arianna followed Giovanni out of the room, catching him up as she ran up the corridor. “Gio, wait!”
Giovanni stopped in the middle of the corridor, Arianna soon stopping to calm him down. Giovanni’s face was now drowning in tears, wiping them off his face with a tissue. “B-but I mustn’t cry, right, Arianna?” He stood up from the floor, walking back to his mother’s room. “I must stand up to my fears. I mustn’t worry, right? I must not cry or worry- as, after all, I am now the boss of Team Rocket.”
