Video here.

 Apparently he did it because he thought he was supposed to, as if they were kids in a sandlot that needed their ball back to continue the game. Awww...

At least his parents tought him to give back stuff that weren't his.

I don't get it. Probably because I'm not American and don't bother to learn the rules of baseball and American Football and things like that.

Normally someone in the audience is supposed to catch a foul ball and supposed to keep it as a souvenir. The kid obviously didn't know this and threw it back. Get it?

Oh I get it now. In a few years time he'll discover the fatal mistake he made.

I recent caught my first foul ball at a Red Sox game and have been to 34 of them, you could say a foul ball is a once in a life time thing. Oh, did i mention I left it in my Dad's Friend's car......

That poor kid.

Well, he is a kid, doesn't know all the facts on baseball...but at least they don't have to buy a new ball. :)

Oh boy, he is so gonna look back on that moment when he's older and kick himself. XD

Heh, the innocence of children eh? :]

Well, he may end up like the little girl who pitched the foul ball back at the Phillies game: she and her family got some pretty decent loot. The family got some autographed jerseys and an autographed ball among other things, IIRC. You never know, the kid may get lucky and make out like a bandit.

Apparently the Giants found out about him throwing it back and gave him another one...he might've gotten something else too, I'm not sure.

Aww.

You're only supposed to throw it back if it's a home run by the opposing team. Poor kid, obviously he didn't know any better.
