OOC: Just starting this up to get things moving, sign ups are still open for the time being for both prisoners and pirates. The pirates won't be in it just yet, so it may be worth while to make a prisoner character if you only have a pirate character.

IC:

You wake up in a large storage room with a group of other Pokemon, they too are just waking up. Your last memories are of being grabbed by some bulky humans and given injections. There is no obvious way out of the room, so the only thing to do for now is to wait.

The first thing Bones does when he wakes up is to try and locate his bone. After a few seconds of looking, he sees it is a few feet away from him. He then, wordlessly, runs into a corner, swinging his bone, making sure to establish it as his own territory.

Ow, Moka thinks after getting up, what the heck happened? I was sleeping, and then i was shot in something... hmm I'm hungry!

She tries to get up to look for something to eat when she sees a Riolu nearby. Curious, she pokes it.
 
"Hm what!?" Striker looks around not noticing who poked him.


He notices a teddiursa next to him. "Who are u!? Where are we!? Did you touch me!?", he asked curiously.
 
Bits jumped up upon hearing another pokemon yell. Scared, she looked around. When she noticed she was in a ship full of different pokemon she started to become frightened.

She cried out a loud shriek as she shocked everyone around her with her electric.
 
"Ow! What was that?" Moka cried, as she looked at Bits angry. "I'm hurt... and where am I? I want my mommy!!"

Moka falls to the floor and throws a tantrum, though to no avail.
 
He was thinking about what happened. He saw many things, he was being held captive being experimented on, he was stuggling to get free...

Striker snapped back to reality after being shocked. And lost his concentration because he heard crying. Angered he told the teddiursa,"Silence i'm trying to concentrate here!"
 
Startled, Moka stops crying to look at the Riolu who snapped at her. Hmmph, she thought staring, I bet you are just a baby yourself...

Moka then goes back on the floor, but instead of crying, she looks at herself in a mirror close by. She sees her scar, and starts to whimper, just loud enough so that the Riolu could hear, but quiet enough so as not to wake the others.
 
Looking at the mirror he saw the scar. He touched his.

Concerned he walked up and apologises,"I'm sorry for my rudeness," he looked at the scar on teddiursa,"So what happened to you?"
 
Bits cocked her head to the side watching the two talk. Her eyes then moved over to a Marowak swinging his bone. Her ears perked up as she ran over to the Marowak and jumped on top of his head with a smile on her face,

"Hey! what ya doin swingin that bone around like that??" She chirped, oblivious to his cold demeanor.
 
"Crying won't make the scars go away." A cold voice crept from the shadows.

"It only makes them that much more real." The voice was coming from a battered Pinsir sitting against a wall. His left leg was chained to a post, and it looked like he was awake far before anyone, though this was the first time he'd spoken since being kidnapped.

"I've found it's best to avoid the mirrors."
 
Moka sniffed again, looking at the Pincir. "What? Not look at myself?" she muttered as she looked at his scar. That's scary. Does it work? Moka wondered as she stared.
 
"You know what you look like better than anyone," Jaws said, looking at the Teddiursa. "Reminding yourself of your hardship is nothing less than masochistic."
 
"So i guess i'm not the only one that knows this cruel world", Striker laughed a bit,"but i also know that this world has a good side".

He started remembering his master, a legendary pokemon trainer who taught him how to use his aura to his full extent.

He looked at the pinsir and teddiursa and said,"Its no use hiding from each other since we are all here so I'll tell you who i am, I'm Striker, who are you?"
 
"My... my name's Moka." Moka said, getting a bit better, "And It's a long story about this scar. It's annoying and makes me sad."

She turns and looks at the Pincir, "mas-oh-is-tic? What is that?"
 
"Yes, there are those who are good and there are those who are evil..." Jaws sat up a bit. "But at the end of the day we all sleep under the same moon. And we will all be buried in the same dirt."

Jaws looked at the two as they introduced themselves.

"Jaws," he said, offering nothing else. "And there's no need to appologize." He was taken aback by Moka's question. "Masochistic means... that you take enjoyment from pain... But, now that I think about it... When that's all that's left, what's better than to enjoy it?"

Jaws pulled at the chain lackadasically.

"I guess I just fought back for once," he said, grinning a bit.
 
"You wanna break Free?", Striker smirked. He built up energy in his right arm until there was a sphere shaped ball of aura.
 
Jaws held his leg out as far as his chain would let him.

"I don't exactly consider getting this chain off my leg being free... but go ahead and give it your best shot."
 
Striker threw the Aura Sphere and the chain burned off easily it even managed to burn jaws a bit, "Guess those chains arent as strong as they look."
