Well, as long as it's better than that MTV one... The computer generated stuff is weird for me, and MTV scares any last hope of me maybe getting to watch it :p

Also, hey! I like the Batman (Though I know a lot of people that don't) I think it's a creative spin on the series even though there are weird plot holes created. I hope it's not over with. Anyways, it looks like venom and sandman are going to be main characters. I really hope not because Venom is not a mastermind and Sandman is not his lacky :| (Also, sandman is not a main character, he should be Mr. Pickle'd (well, maybe not that far...))

I kinda liked the MTV series. It had its faults for sure, but it was worth checking out.

This could go either way. Marvel's recent animated movies/shows have sucked more than a leech. I haven't seen any more than three or four episodes of The Batman, but it looked okay from what I saw. I certainly hope this is at least on the level of... oh, say, X-Men: Evolution, but it definetly won't be surprising if this is completely awful.

The last couple seasons of The Batman, especially the last one, have been great. Don't base your judgement on the first season or two alone. The first season is to The Batman what Johto is to the Pokemon anime.

I found The Batman pretty nice.

Although...does anyone watch KidsWB anymore? It's REALLY gone down the tube...no Yugioh...no Pokemon...not even Xiaolin Showdown. I give this a month before it gets sent to Cartoon Network.

Long, boring, and ultimately pointless? Honestly, I watched the Batman until some point after Batgirl first appeared, and which point it start to annoy me. Obviously, I'm not their target audience, so it's certainly not like I'm saying the show's horrible, I'm just saying that I don't like it, and as such, I'm not holding out much hope for the Spectacular Spider-Man. But, hey, I could be surprised. I will, most likely (i.e., if I remember when it's on) give it a shot, but...I need to be wowed or at least intrigued within the first episode.

But I'm still waiting for word on Wolverine and the X-Men. Though since it's made by the same people behind Fantastic Four...I'm also not expecting much out of it. ...Rather a disappointing time in comic book animation, from my standpoint.

Well I wouldn't say that, and I didn't really have too many problems with any of the episodes, but most people agree that the series generally gets better as it goes along. (I've read a lot of similar opinions anyway.) The additions of Batgirl and Robin have been great, the episodes have been gradually getting better writing, and the last two episodes--the two parter featuring Martian Manhunter and, at the end, introducing the Justice League--have met with excellent reviews.

The Batman Season 4 was amazing.

The show did start off rather bad. Season 1 was awful except for the Clayface eps, and Seasons 2 and 3 are rather hit or miss. The show got really excellent with Season 4 however, that's the only season that can actually be compared with B:TAS.

Wow, it looks surprisingly decent, like somewhere between Batman Beyond and the Batman.
