Apparently, the March schedule has been released for Kids' WB!, and it looks like the network is going to continue airing two new episodes a week (for a total of eight new episodes for the month). And none of those episodes will be any of the three episodes that were skipped between "Who, What, When, Where, Wynaut?" and "Berry Berry Interesting."

I'm still waiting on confirmation of this, but the poster on Toon Zone who reported this has never been wrong about this sort of thing before.

At this rate, the Battle Frontier should begin in April.

*sighs* I miss having a weekday lineup, because watching the reruns every day was like my hobby.

And I really never thought I'd see the day when Pokemon wasn't airing at all on weekdays.

Even CN took it off, and I've gotta admit I didn't like that either (mainly because Master Quest is my favorite season).

If the information I'm hearing *is* correct, we'll only have fourteen episodes left in the season (not counting the three skipped eps) at the end of March. Kids' WB! will probably want to do the double dose of episodes for May sweeps, so there goes another eight episodes.

That means that for the months of April, June, July, and August, we'll likely only have six new episodes premiere. The rest will be reruns.

I bet they wind up taking it off for a few weeks like they did with Yu-Gi-Oh.

I miss having Friday reruns.

Or they may end this year(season) earlier then normal? Usually they continue airing episodes up until June/July. Well we do know there will be a special in April, perhaps the special will be it for the year. If they keep up the 2 episodes/week pace they will catch up to the Japanese raw.. or perhaps that is Pokemon USA's intention...

Any Season 9 episodes wouldn't be able to air until September, at the earliest. It's impossible for us to catch up with the raw.

Oh......

They'll eventually be having reruns on Saturday's?

Well, that figures.

I kinda saw that one coming, considering all the new episodes we've been getting.

In fact, I don't think they've kept airing double new episodes like this since probably, the first season of Johto. I think that was the last time they did this (but I could be wrong).

I bet the reason KidsWb is hurrying up is because they won't exist in the fall. This is the final season before KidsWB gets the axe.

They're making sure to air the rest of the Pokemon episodes this season before the channel goes under and becomes KidsCW.

That, and because 4Kids TV basically would have nothing good on besides Ninja Turtles. One Piece is over on Cartoon Network, Sonic X is ending (unless we get a Season 4), and everything else would most likely go into Seasons 2 and 3. Winx Club Season 3, Bratz Season 2, Ninja Turtles Season 5, G.I. Joe Season 2, and so on. And we'll find out if Kids WB in fact did ban the Pacifidlog eps on March 11th, which is when YTV hopefully airs the Donphan ep.

Got the schedule:

March 4th -

10:00am - "Island Time"
10:30am - "Like a Meowth to a Flame"

March 11th -

10:00am - "Saved by the Beldum"
10:30am - "From Brags to Riches"

March 18th -

10:00am - "Shocks and Bonds"
10:30am - "A Judgment Brawl"

March 25th -

10:00am - "Choose It or Lose It"
10:30am - "At the End of the Fray"

Didn't you guys get the Silver Conference all in one week? I'm not surprised that they're speeding through the battles.

I'm guessing that if you do get the skipped episodes, they will come just after this set. Otherwise, you will be in Kanto.

Well the skipped episodes will be released to DVD at any rate, even if KidsWb never airs them.

Dogasu, black history month is over, so what is your theory on KidsWb holding back the 3 episodes now?

It's also:

Women's History Month - Best to focus on Ash than the fanservice
American Red Cross Month - James does get hurt in that wall...
National Frozen Foods Month - Snorunt's Ice Beam has negative consequences
National Umbrella Month - Damn umbrellas!

Black History Month will still be over in April, May, June, July, etc. Just because they're not airing them IMMEDIATELY after doesn't mean they won't air them.

And besides that, I've always tried to emphasize the ratings factor as being the major decision maker here.

Aren't sweeps over?

Then again, Misty comes at the beginning of April...

So if 14 episodes would be left after march then the final episode would be the saffron contest. Which would make me question why manene was ever in the opening to begin with even though it did get edited out.

Manene was there because 4Kids used the Battle Frontier opening.

At least it looks like they will have more material to work with for the next dub opening now...

Since 4kids didn't dub the clip show, doesn't Advanced Battle end with "Ash Vs. May" in the fighting dojo episode?

Yes.

Also,
Kojirou doesn't catch Manene until NEXT season, so it makes a little sense why it was taken out
