This video which was released by E3 2016 has confirmed that this game will be released in December 2016 and it won't just be a single release for a single region, name Japan, it will be a worldwide release. Ohh, So excited.

The video also confirms that more details of Kingdom Hearts III will be revealed during this upcoming winter.

In case anyone doesn't know Dream Drop Distance serves the same purpose that Chain of Memories (and technically 358/2 Days) did as serving as a prequel in the storyline to another upcoming KH Game, which for DDD is Kingdom Hearts III.
