Kingdom Hearts

I know it's mainly a video game, but they HAVE made a [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts_(manga)#Manga]manga[/url] out of it, so I figure it counts to be in this section. Sorry if this should be somewhere else.

Anyway -- welcome all Kingdom Hearts fans! Hopefully there are some others on this site besides me...

It would be...interesting if it was turned into an anime but so far I'm satisfised with the manga.
I really like the art style >w< It's so cute! Especially the cover for volume 1 of Chain of Memories!!

If you really like Kingdom Hearts then you'll like the manga.
It's cute and it follows the plot of the games with its own jokes thrown into it.
At one point Donald tells them that the ship only runs on happy faces. Sora, Donald and Goofy are forced to keep smiling throughout the journey about the Gummi. By the time they reach the world, their faces are sore.
And Sora's already exagerarted facial expresions go th eextra mile in the manga.
...uhm...You won't find anything new (except the jokes) and it's perfect if you want to revist any part of the game without playing it.

I like the games, even though the plot of KHII makes no sense and the characterization is shoddy. It's mindless X-smashing fun with Disney characters, I don't need much more than that.

I don't like the manga as it omits my favorite part of the games. =(

I've only read the first volume of CoM. And it was great, as well as hillarious. If only I could find more of it.

It's harder now to find the first four volumes of the series. For a while some book stores sold them in a box set. But CoM and KH II are easier to find because they are so recent.

I knew that the mangas existed. Are the mangas similar to the game's storyline?

^I read volume one last night about when Sora first arrives in traverse Town and teams up with Donald and Goofy to beat Guard Armor and it seemed just like the game.

That's a good question...My guess is they wanted to make a game with Disney but Disney made them use theur characters.
That, or they actually wanted to combine all the Disney worlds and make it fun.
Like Sora's outfit is modeled after Mickey Mouse, Kairi's is modeled after Minnie (or any Disney Princess actually) and Riku's seems to take after Donald or Pete.

^^ yeah, some of the worlds are really awesome. And that gives me an idea!

What are your favorite and least favorite worlds from the Kingdom Hears series? (Could be KH1, 2, or COM in the games, or a world that you liked the way it was translated in the manga)

Favorite worlds:
- Traverse Town (1)
-Wonderland (1)
-Hollow Bastion (2 only)
-Olympus (2 only)
-Timeless River (2)
- Agrabah (2 only)
- Halloween Town (1 and 2)
- Pride Lands (2)

Least favorite:
- Deep Jungle (1; just plain not fun)
- Olympus (1 only; nothing to do but enter the cups)
- Atlantica (1 only; freakin' NO save points, hard to navigate, fighting 3D was really hard with that control system, enemies had a tendency to spawn RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU, and Ursula was a BITCH to defeat)
- Hollow Bastion (1 only; PAIN IN THE ASS to navigate, couldn't walk two steps without being jumped, and the boss battles were either EXTREMELY hard, or anticlimactic. Plus, WTF was Beast doing there?!)
