Around XY083 a new track inserts our beloved series. It's called KiraKira. FYI, "Getter Ban-Ban" singer Tomohisa Sako sang it directly from his voice. Then, on XY085 the music was played once again (although the situation doesn't match the tune).

What do you think of this song?

I find it pretty catchy, especially on the chorus and that "Pika-Pika-Chu-Chu-Chu" part I think.

Its actually PikaPikaPokettoni ChuChuChu. But yeah its a catchy song that would make a perfect ED song. I loved the way XY OP themes are upbeat and motivating, this song is more at the happy and fun end thats why I would like it to be an ED instead.

I also like it, it feels like a lighthearted version of Getter ban ban. And it's the first anime insert song that's not an OP/ED since...Team Rocket Forever?

I wouldn't mind it to become an opening or ending, but I'm sure that will not be the case, because I don't remember the last time an OP/ED was released on CD before it was used (not counting movies, additionaly, Saiko Everyday was released on CD before but only the instrumental version).

This song was released waaaay before the airing; when the Getter BanBan single was released KiraKira was listed as the second track. I guess nobody brought this up until now since not a lot of people had listened to it before. The only way to listen to this song was to buy the single because there weren't any youtube uploads for months.

But anyways, this is a really sweet song that's supposed to be a letter from Citron to Ash. The singer wrote the lyrics, which is cool since he says he's a pokemon fan as well. It's catchy and uplifting, and I remember listening to it all day when I first heard the song XD
