I'd rather have Professor Oak cuss when Ash is trying to decide his starter Pokemon, it just seems humourous, since it'd be "OOC" for Prof. Oak to cuss and it'd be classic comedy.

Hmm...

Ash is the character based on the Yellow version trainer only. If he were to be based off of Fire Red or Leaf Green, he'd have the same outfit.

Hey, I know... maybe in one of the comics you could have May bathing in money... and... maybe Brock getting punched in the head for idiocy. Misty could always be doing beach modeling... and what starter will Satoshi choose in your comic? Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle? (Unless you want to go the Yellow version route, which will end up in suckage. Yellow version sucked.)
