A forum with more than just Male/Female for Gender choices? Swizzle!

Hey all, I'm Simba. I'm a white, heterosexual, cisgendered, twentysomething, disabled American male. Been playing Pokemon since the original games. I'm a writer, a programmer, a lifelong Nintendo fan and I always pick the Grass starter. My favorite cool Pokemon are Arcanine, Jolteon, Scyther, Golem and Mewtwo. My favorite cute Pokemon are Bulbasaur, Tangela, Cubone, Farfetch'd, Gastly, Venonat and Mew. I'd say my overall favorite is Bulbasaur, and if I were a Pokemon myself, I'd wanna be Cubone.

I have a ton of medical problems that make it painful to use a computer, so I probably won't post very often. I mainly registered to post the answers to the trivia contest, which I did in the contest question thread. (Here's hoping that doesn't get me into trouble ^_^)

Whenever I'm having a good few days, I'll probably wanna do a lot of trading (wanna fill up my White 2 Pokedex, now that we know for a fact you can upload to Gen VI), so I'll probably see you on the trading boards.

X/Y is fast approaching but the Pokemon Bank isn't opening for a few months so you should have plenty of time to fill your Pokedex and get your Pokemon ready for transfer. Do check out our trading board which can help with getting dex entries and good luck completing your dex. Maybe if you get the Shiny Charm you'll even find some shinies to send.

Whoa, didn't even know about the Shiny Charm. Excellent. But jeeze, you gotta complete the entire National Dex first?! Craziness. I've got Emerald beat, and my nephew has a beaten Diamond and a half-beat FireRed and HeartGold, so I can upload most of the older Pokemon once I beat my White 2, but still. Well, I guess it's a reward worth the task.

Thankfully, I only experience pain when I use my joints or my eyes, it's not constant. I have a friend with fibromyalgia who's in constant, all-over pain. Compared to her, I'm really lucky.

I mostly always pick the Grass starter because I really like Grass Pokemon and moves, but most Grass Pokemon are really weak. Starters are always strong, though. Plus, it's kinda tradition slash an homage to my favorite Poke, Bulbasaur.
