Kurt Pokeballs

I hope they do and I will be using the balls.

One thing that I hope they do with these balls is cut the time that Kurt uses to make them.

It wasn't that bad before. It took him one day to make them, but they were ready at midnight. If you gave them to him at 11:59, they would be ready at 12:00. And in Crystal, they made it so that you could give him up to 99 of the same type of apricorn. Though it would be nice if you could get more of the balls... Especially since they probably won't be obtainable through a store in HGSS.
 
One thing I hope is that after the Elite 4, he gives you the choice to make Sinnoh/Hoenn balls along with Johto Balls. Like Devon comes to Kurt with ways to make his balls with apricorns.

Really, who the fuck uses Moon Balls? They sucked then, and they suck now, nostalgia be damned. And Level Ball? Friend Ball? Seriously, they can be in their for nostalgia guys like Maxim for the first time around, but at least give you the options for Timer Balls, Dusk Balls, Net Balls, Quick Balls and such.

Nonsense. If Devon and Sinnoh Balls are going to be available in HGSS at all, then they'll simply be buyable in Kanto shops. It makes no sense for Kurt to make a different set of Balls. Hoenn/Sinnoh Balls are COMMERCIAL goods. And that'll be only the ones which don't work in the same way as Kurt's ones.

Who needs a Quick Ball when there's Fast Ball?
 
Maxim do you want HGSS to be EXACTLY the same as GS? Like, have the same graphics as well? You don't seem to like any changes. Try and see the positive side of stuff, a lot of the changes are good ones that will make the games more fun.

Sure, because axing Kurt's Balls (lol, I don't mean literally severing his testicles) and replacing them with Hoenn/Sinnoh Balls is a change which makes the game more fun!
 
Oh I didn't mean specifically that, just I read some of your blogs, and you don't seem to like any of the new stuff, you even say there not remakes anymore.

That's why I said I HOPE, as in I THINK. I'd at least like him to make Balls that are improvements over the originals, like an improvement over the Moon Ball would be a Ball that has a high catch rate for ALL Pokemon that evolve with a stone. Maybe give away Luxury Balls or Cherish Balls once a week after the Elite 4.

Yeah, OP, there's already a few threads for apricorns such as ^that one, which is still on the first page. This discussion will probably end up just repeating everything said in the previous apricorn threads, so you probably just want to revive one of those.

Can we get this thread locked?

They should definently try to include Gen III and IV balls that didn't have Apricorn ball counterparts. Though Kurt shouldn't make them, that just doesn't sound right. I mean, there wouldn't be apricorns for those balls, Kurt shouldn't be making copyrighted products, and it would take away some of the feel of the orignal game. They should include Gen III/IV balls in some of the shops.

Way to be general there. And Maxim is right here, there's no reason to add in Gen III/IV balls for Kurt's balls. He can make plenty of good pokeballs as it is.

Thank goodness.

Before anyone whines about compatibility, consider this. GF will have solved any issues. Otherwise, we wouldn't have the old balls.
 
There's no need to whine about compatibility.

They'll solve everything.

Also, inclusion of the Old Balls makes the inclusion of Ragecandybar, Slowpoketail and Berserk Gene even more likely and assumable.
