Discuss the epicness that is Lagomorph Shipping.

^You need to give a link to the original artist.

But Lagomorph is an adorable Pokemon ship. It's my favorite Pokemon ship along with HydroShipping (Ash's Squirtle x May's Squirtle/Wartortle)

Edit: And it's also very blatant...well at least on Buneary's part. XD

PiplupxPikachu actually happened in one episode. Hmm...why are so many of Ash's and Dawn's pokemon falling in love?

That wasn't on purpose. It was because of some mad scientist dude.

Or maybe it was because they wanted to showcase PearlShipping because of it's unfortunate lack of big hints.

Depends, Ash is always shown to be side to side with Dawn, unlike his previous travel partners. If you count that and other things there is probably a lot more.

That just shows the close relationship they have. Heck, they're like brother and sister.

Topic:
Do you hope that Lagomorph will have some sort of closuree by the end of DP?

Yes. They brought it into the show, fresh and fun, and now it died down. Leaving a couple of scattered hints here and there. They can't leave something like that without closure.

No. There will not be any closure. As shipping between pokemon is ignored, and only used as a plot device in certain cases.

Why are you even here if you don't even support LagomorphShipping?

another pointless post...

oh you :-p

*kicks MisterUrban aside*

I'm usually not much of a shipper (over 2000 posts in 4 months and not one of them in this section... I guess it's pretty obvious). However, I've revived this thread (through the art of relevant necromancy) because this is one ship I wholeheartedly support... though I guess my avatar made that kinda obvious. It's so cute, I really don't see how anyone could be that against it. I felt that, being on the staff now, I should try to post at least a little bit in the sections I've been neglecting. In looking through the shipping section (and I do read through it from time to time), I decided on this thread for the aforementioned reason.

As for the issue of closure (which MisterUrban was kind enough to bring up) as the inevitable end of D&P draws near... I have no idea. I'd like to think it will be touched on, however, even if only briefly. It's had continuous references throughout Sinnoh, so I should hope they'd give it a minute or two at the end.

Even more, though, I'd really love to see a theatrical Pikachu short (I guess Movie 13 would be the last opportunity) which focuses on the two of them. Maybe something in a similar style to the old "Pichu & Pikachu" short (eg. "small Pokemon in the big city"), but this one would be kind of a "date night" with the two of them hitting the town. Alas, I fear we'll never get to see the adorable comedic romance that such a short would no doubt feature, but it's always good to dream.
