So I was bored in class one day, thinking about my original character, Nekou, and how she needed some poetry about her... here it is. (BTW, Nekou's a TR member. Thought that'd clear things up some for you.)

Lament in Azalea Town

She wakes up
looks at the clock
(another day, another report)
and wonders how she
found herself in this
world of necessary evil
(but is it really?)
and she wonders if there’s more
to life than lying, stealing, dying
over and over again
(her soul for a second chance)
the amnesiac girl next door, fallen to
the Devil’s lies, searching in the
darkness of this underground
(but it’s such an honor)
believing the half-truths and
broken promises of power, money,
belonging, within its ranks
(where are they now, she wonders)
and the lost girl stares at her beast
pets it behind its black ears
listens to its constant, loud purring
(being careful to avoid its razor claws)
and wonders where she’ll buy her next coffee.

Nekou seems heartbroken at the choices she's made in life. Very well written. I really liked the part about her and 'the black beast.'
