((In any case, let's get this party started!))

Tia walked alone, among the ruined streets of Slateport City. Slaying daemons is a international thing, and Tia is one of many globe-trotting Devil Hunters. She came to this city because of the fact that merpeople wreaked the ports, and they need to be "cleared" in order for repairs to start.

Joe and Josh raced across the streets of Slateport City in Serpico, their highly-modified Lamborghini Countach.

“You know…” said Joe. “Most fourteen-year-olds don’t drive.” His twin brother, Josh, chuckled from next to him.

“Then they don’t know how to live.” he replied.

After turning a sharp corner, they came across Tia. Joe braked hard to avoid hitting her, then got out.

“Well well well…” he said. “Haven’t seen you around here before.”

“Indeed.” said Josh, getting out of the other side. “You got a name?”

Dexter walked by the group, and planned on going elsewhere.

Jarret drove down the road on his motorcycle. "He didn't care if it'd be a particular public servace to slay the demons he was going after, the same as the others, he just knew were they could be found and was more than prepared to do everything in his power to stop them. He came to a stop in front of the group. "Seeing as you're dressed for battle, I assume we share the same goal in mind, am I right?" he asked, suprisingly, there were no visable weapons on him.

"Oh yeah." said Joe and Josh together.

They walked up to Serpico, and unhooked a pair of matching BFG 9000's from above his headlights.

"We customized this dude to the max to support these bad boys." said Joe, gesturing unnecessarily to the giant weapons around his and Joshes necks.

Tia jumped when a car nearly hit her. "Vigilar el camino, maldito idiota!" She cursed in Spanish, hand above her heart. "Name's Lucia. Yours?" Tia said, giving her alias in case something goes down.

Jarret cocked his head. "I do not understand your sentence." he said. "Sorry, let me explain...my memory is gone, I only remember my name, Jarret, and that I'm supposed to stop the demons." he said. "By order of the one about us."

"Just call us 'The Clones'" said Joe, putting his BFG back in its slot in Serpico.

"Need a ride?" asked Josh, also putting his back.

"Good, you wouldn't supposed to." Tia said, hands at her hips. "Just you, Jerret? And what the hell does that last line mean?" Tia asked, raising an eyebrow at the man's sentence. "And to answer the question, yeah. The ports aren't for another couple of hours." Tia said.

"Hop in then." said Joe, taking his place in the drivers seat.

"Whatch him, though." warned Josh, sitting in the passenger seat. "He loves the ladies." The engine revved loudly, as if agreeing.

"So who are these guys?" Dexter said to himself as he walked to his base, it had room for them, but it wouldn't be safe to allow strangers in. He must have seemed like a ghost.

"Yeah, yeah." Tia said, taking off her scythe and sword she kept on her back and placed them in the back, as well as her coat, showing her belt sporting her guns. "I can handle myself." She said and jumped into the back.

The engine revved three times, then Serpico took off along the shoreline toward sthe docks.

"So, what brings you here?" asked Josh, turning around in his seat.

"Eh, killing the merpeople that's wreaking havoc in this part of Hoenn. Times like this it really sucks to be an island." Tia said, slumping into her seat.

Dexter got in his base and used the surveillance cameras to check what the strangers were doing, "Let's see what they are like."

"Looks like we've found some." said Joe suddenly, pointing to a giant sure in the tide.

A mermaid was sunbathing on the wreckage of a boat. Merpeople are somewhat different than what they are stereotypically shown. True, they have a fish tail, but they also have fins on their arms, webbed hands, and scale-like protrusions on their arms, spine, and torso. Their teeth are also sharp and are replaced if broken off, like a Sharpedo. Their face is very easy on the eyes, and are nudists. However, thankfully for men, mermen don't have their junk out in the open. It's hidden, and will come out only if aroused so.

"Let's see their battling capabilities," He said, before starting the record function on the surveillance camera.

"Let's rumble!" yelled Joe, pressing a button on the stearing wheel.

A huge ball of green plasma shot off at sirprising speed into the midts of the merpeople, striking the mermaid and sending her flying back into the ocean.

"That was probably not the best tactic to use," He said.
