Which do you prefer and why? I own all three but personally I can't get comfortable at a laptop. I only use my tablet for browsing the internet in bed. For all my main computer time (when i'm on Bulba for example) I sit at my desktop pc. Laptops and tablets I find to be too fiddly for prolonged use.

Since my tablet is a Kindle Fire HD (which is paired with Amazon Prime), I only use my tablet to read all the free books I get through Amazon (which is too much, and yes there is such a thing). I only use my smart phone when I'm on the go and need to do something quick on the Internet.

I don't even know if my preference is a laptop to be honest, but I'm just so used to using one that it just clicks for me. I was recently moved from a laptop to a desktop at work, and although the justifications for the change make sense, I just feel so limited when I use it. (I personally didn't have a say in the matter.) I guess I just like the portability of a laptop a lot, even if my current home laptop must be near a power surge since I can only use it when it's connected to a charger.

I like laptops the best. It's mostly the portability.

I prefer laptops sometimes and desktops sometimes. Desktops are better for gaming and parts tend to be cheaper while a laptop is portable and easy to move with.

I feel most comfortable using my laptop, it's pretty easy to use with a wireless mouse and I like the portability of it. I don't really like how fidgety tablets are sometimes, and it's hard to do certain things. PC is nice sometimes, but a little restrictive.

My desktop is my gaming rig.

I have all three (well I have a desktop, two tablets, my Android phone and my old iPhone) and I appreciate that they all have their own uses and strengths. So I wouldn't pick one over the other since I wouldn't want to be without any of them.

We're much the same, I appreciate a laptop's portability, but I can't get comfy at home with one. Most of my time on the internet is on my iPad, whether that be browsing or netflix, but I'm also on the computer a lot too, like right now.

The desktop will most likely always be superior to me. The laptop is a very close second, but I just prefer sitting at my desk on my PC. Laptops are great for trips and school, though.

Tablets and phones have their place, but they can't ever replace desktops/laptops for me. I just can't get comfortable using them casually, and typing on them can not ever compare to the keyboard.

I like the laptop more because I know that it will not suddenly shut down whenever there is a blackout, unlike a desktop computer. Strangely enough, I don't care about a laptop's portability as I rarely move it around, so I do use my laptop on a table just like a desktop computer.

I've never had a reason to get tablets because their usage seem too limited.

I can appreciate the portability for a laptop like most others, since I go between my parent's homes. So it's handy having all the programs I need for my online classes on my laptop. Most of which I can't use on a tablet, so that's out of the runnings for my fave. And I hate being confined to a hard computer chair, especially if my class assignments require drawing. So my laptop provides me with portability, the right tools, and comfort I need on a day to day basis.

For me Laptop, much easier and convenient to use, and it's portable, so I can take it places, especially if I"m going to be out of town. Can't take a desktop.

Desktop for Gaming, Laptop for on the go, and I want a tablet in for quick searches.

I live in a few different places over the course of the year, so a laptop's best for me (just being really easy to move and set up from place to place). I do love tablets for watching movies in bed, though.

Either a laptop or desktop PC will work for me, but I own a laptop to use, so I just voted for that one.

Laptop for work and studies, tablet for emails and business as well as social and desktop for printing, scanning and storing old files.

Laptop is the one I use the most.

I like going to my room, and using my desktop PC to browse the Web, or play video games. I do have a smartphone, but I rarely use it for Internet purposes.

I'm surprised to see that many people didn't pick tablets, since I see them all over the place.

For me it's both. I use my laptop to browse, play, write and have fun. And I use my mother's kindle to play games (which I haven't done lately), read my bible, and watch videos (currently watching an old novela from '94 called Peligrosa (Dangerous)).
