Larry debuts his new sync pair with Komala in Pokémon Masters EX in the new Pasio Hot Spring Fever Costume Event

The long suffering Larry is getting his once-a-year holiday in Pokémon Masters EX this week with the launch of a new Costume Event, Pasio Hot Spring Fever. Also launching today is Larry's latest Costume Sync Pair, with his new Sync Partner Komala.

Costume Event: Pasio Hot Spring Fever
The new Pasio Hot Spring Fever Costume Event sees Larry getting some well deserved rest at a new hot spring resort just opened on Pasio. This event is available in-game now, and will continue through until May 31st, at 10:59pm (PDT).

This event follows the simplified format for Events, where players will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Players will need to collect a total of 10,000 Event Points for this event in order to receive all possible rewards. Featured event rewards include 5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Support Move Candy Coin, a 5★ Power-Up, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feathers 125 and 126, custom Sync Orbs for Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala and Flannery (Special Costume) & Magcargo, and Lucky Cookies for Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala and Flannery (Special Costume) & Magcargo, and Flannery & Torkoal.

As usual for events of this type, players will receive bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala: +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
• Kabu & Centiskorch, Elesa & Zebstrika, Iono & Bellibolt: +40% (×1.4) bonus rewards
• Erika & Vileplume: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Paldea or Hoenn Theme Skills: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala, plus two sync pairs with either the Paldea or Hoenn Theme Skills, would grant a combined +100% (x2.0) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.

Larry Costume Scouts
Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala make their debut in this limited-time set of Costume Scouts alongside the launch of the Pasio Hot Spring Fever Costume Event. The Larry Costume Scout and Larry Costume Tiered Scout will run through until June 1st, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Larry Costume Featured Ticket Scout and Larry Costume Guaranteed Ticket Scout meanwhile will run through to June 8th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala are a Normal-type Field Sync Pair with a Support EX Role, and the ability to Sync Terastallize. When raised to 6★ EX, their outfit switches around from a light blue yukata with dark brown accents to a light brown yukata with a blue obi belt. rainers who partner up with Larry (Special Costume 2) & Komala will receive a special Friend Snapshot that can be viewed in the Trainer Lodge.

The Larry Costume Scout give players bonus presents for the first three times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11, awarding a Field Move Candy Coin each time. This Costume Scout includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

In addition to the regular Costume Scout, players can also take advantage of a Larry Costume Tiered Scout. This scouts has ten tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 5 and 10 of each grant the player special tickets to use in the associated Larry Costume Featured Ticket Scout and Larry Costume Guaranteed Ticket Scout.

Larry (Special Costume) Gym Emote
Additionally, a special Gems with Gym Emotes offer is available from the in-game shop, allowing players to obtain a Larry (Special Costume 2) Gym Emote as a present. This offer, which comes with 250 paid gems, can be purchased under the With Emotes tab in the Purchase Gems menu of the in-game shop until June 1st, at 10:59pm (PDT).
