I think it would be battle between Chimchar VS Torterra or Monferno VS Torterra.

I think it's obvious. What do you think?

I think It'll be Torterra vs Torterra, Chimchar vs Torterra, Chimchar vs Magmar, Gliscor vs Gliscor, or Pikachu vs Electivire.

Yeah Pikachu vs Electabuzz/Electrivire (It had a problem with Pikachu so its only right this matchup happen)

Staravia/Raptor vs Honchkrow
Buizel vs Azumarril
Torterra vs Torterra
Chimchar/Monferno vs Magmar
Gliscor vs Gliscor

This is my matchup idea... does Paul still have Honchkrow? I have not seen any any D/P/Battle Dimention episodes past DP050 I think (or around then)

ok, buizel against Weavile or Usering (If has it), but given the fight that chimchar put up against usering... (when chimchar went over blazed) if usering still is Pauls, Ash shoud battle it with chimchar/monferno and give it a victory over it, so it could get over its fear of usering as it was pretty nasty.

Well, the Eleboo rivalry with Pikachu has already been solved.

I would love it to be Hikozaru/Moukazaru/Goukazaru against... any one of Shinji's Pokemon with personality, I think.

Paul won't have Electrivire in Sinnoh league. Guys stop dreaming )))
First of all almost all of his pokemon are the evolved. And i don't think Paul will use Electrabuzz as his last pokemon. He wiil keep Torterra to the end.

I don't see the point in giving him Elekid/Elctabuzz or Magmar if they aren't going to evolve in their 4th gen evos.

And unless Pikachu learns something else, I don't think it can beat Electivire, unless they cheapen Electivire's ability. For that reason I hope the final battle between Ash and Paul will be something different.

Pikachu can't beat Electrivire. These two types are very different in power. Electrivire is the final evoultion of Elekid. And i think Electrivire is the strongest electric non-legendary pokemon.

But i don't think it will be battle between Electrabuz/Electriver and Pikachu.

I'd like to see Ash's Infernape using blaze ability and then overheat against Torterra. It would be awesome

We've seen Electivire with Gary, one of those things that prompted Ash go to Sinnoh. But Paul with a Magmortar is kickass. Wishful thinking, Infernape vs. Magmortar.

Ash's Pikachu can't really beat Electivire.

But a strong Pikachu with: Dig, Brick Break, Signal Beam, and quick attack could beat Paul's (Electivire). Ash's Pikachu knows (uses lately) Thunderbolt, Volt tackle, and Iron tail, (quick attack) not exactly the best to use against Electivire.

Well, you forget that the anime is not restricted to in game tactics, Pikachu did beat a raichu in the anime, and it was stronger than Pikachu, and have we seen Pikachu actually face an electrivire yet? Nope, so we don't actually know what could happen. Anyway we know that Pikachu knows:

ThunderShock
Tackle
Tail Whip
Thunderbolt
Thunder
Quick Attack
Agility
Leer (used only once while battling Houndour in Hour of the Houndour)
Iron Tail
Volt Tackle
Slam
Double-Edge (used only during the Indigo Plateau Conference)

Although Slam, Leer, Double Edge, Tail Whip, ThunderShock and Agility have not been seen in a long time. Saying that, does not mean it could or could not beat electrivire.

Raichu doesn't have motor drive as an ability that negates electric attacks and boosts the speed of the Pokemon who has the ability.

Um...Gary? Did you forget him?
