Is anyone familiar with this "recipe" or the meme around it (you could start with the sarcastic reviews)? As well as the slightly-less-but-still-pretty-ridiculous "recipe" for Paula Deen's English Peas?

I knew about these but didn't know there were even more silly Food Network "recipes" out there, like this one for microwave popcorn or possibly the stupidest one ever, "Dark Chocolate as a Snack." (Although, now it redirects to an actual recipe.)

Seriously, this stuff is really sad, considering I'm the most pathetic chef in the universe and yet even I didn't need a "recipe" to figure out how to heat up bacon in the microwave.

I tried the "Pineapple wedges" recipe, but it was way too hard. May have to try and simplify it next time.

^Did you get a good pineapple and use a good knife? ;)

Like I implied and others have said, there should be a "Tips" section. Paula's peas recipe sounded interesting, but a bit bland, so I also added some leftover rice, diced carrots, onions, red bell peppers, corn, green beans, scrambled eggs, soy sauce, ground ginger, hot salt, salt, and pepper. Also, I'm allergic to butter, so I used olive oil instead, and just heating sounded a little plain, so I fried it all in a cast iron skillet instead. It was pretty good. I definitely recommend it! :9

The peas were frozen instead of canned, though, so I might have been doing it wrong....
