I didnt know where to put this, but since I saw RTM's here, I decided to just put it here.

Well the problem is, I just caught a synchronized Timid Latias that I'm not sure if I should keep because of her speed IV's

31 / 13 / 26 / 26 / 26 / 3


And her EV's would be

252 HP / 4 Sp.A / 252 Speed


I like her other IV's but is the speed IV the sinker?
 
Probably keep, just cause it is a legendary anyway... just give it a Choice Scarf, or Quick Claw if you can?
 
I think this guy plans to make this a Calm Minder, probably SubCM. Choice Scarf wouldn't work with that strategy. And nobody seriously uses a Quick Claw.

Anyway, the bad Speed IV really is a sinker. One major thing Latias has going for it is that it can outrun non-Scarfed Terrakion and Keldeo and KO the both of them with Psyshock. But for that, the Speed IV needs to be at least 28. With an IV of 3, Garchomp and perhaps even Salamence can outrun it.

Legitimately getting these legendaries with good IVs is a daunting venture that requires patience. It might take a while, but if you're willing to try for another, another after that, and so on, I think you'll end up with a good Latias in time.
 
Wait... so if you catch a legendary without saving and turn your system off, the nature and the IVS will be different o.o (keep in mind I am a noob here)?
