Lavender Town overworld, completely remastered

[Dewgong Reign]

This was cobbled together by me in one night with nothing more than MS Paint and Picnik. I've always thought Lavender Town's appearance never lived up to its reputation, so I decided to remake the Gen. I-era Lavender Town in a 2.5D style, with a few additions. (Most notably the funeral parlor and tower redesign)

(The statues of the hooded figures belong to GrandmaDeb at the Rpgmakervx forums.)

I love it. The two statues are amazing to whom made them, and the dark and ghostly affect is wonderful.

Right? I'm surprised that after R/B/G, Nintendo didn't try to capitalize on all the creepypasta and Lavender Town Tone hype. Instead they turned the tower into a radio broadcast station and moved the graves to a memorial house? I was astounded.

Though they did seem to intensify the creepiness of the Channelers' possession in the remakes, I was still upset they didn't seize the opportunity to make Lavender Town scary again.

It would be fun if I could fit the graphics map to HGSS Lavender Town with the same gameplay mechanics, but I don't know anyone who can do that.

I always imagined the grass bit around Lavender town would have been a bit more dead looking, but it looks amazing good job!
