Lawnmowergirl's Sprites!

I may be a spriting newb, but I'd like to find out what people think of my sprites.

I've mostly done recolors of Trainer sprites, but I've more recently gotten into splicing and other things.

But now that I have Paint.NET, I'll no longer be having the problem that occurred with Bellpharosmander. See, I was intending the skirt to be its original colors, but the colors were indexed or something, and GIMP kept changing it.


I'm considering opening a sprite shop, but I'm afraid I might not be motivated enough to actually do people's requests. Feel free to suggest something, though, because I could really use the practice.

I didn't make it from scratch, I used Venonat as a base.

He wears a teal turtleneck under his jacket. I think I might make it a darker color though, because I've just now realized it's darker than that.

These are quite impressive! I like the Venonat edit...it reminds me of something from another anime, not sure what, though. The Bellapharosmander is awesome! Anything that incorporates Bellossom gets my vote. ^^

To fix the indexed colouring in GIMP, go to Image/Mode and select RGB.
