So, not to thread hijack, but why is it they don't do the item downloads outside Japan? I heard once that it was because they thought "foreigners" would duplicate the items too much, but it's not like they don't know about the cloning glitch. At least let us have our events rather than going anticlimatically to a guy in a green jumpsuit for our rare pogemans.

I can't wait for official site to be updated!

We'll get the Oak's Letter artwork and that awesome scene artwork. I LOVE it when Sugimori draws scenes!

Oh, and that shiny Pichu too! It doesn't look too "shiny" on this art I'm, however pretty sure that it's also Sugimori.

This month's CoroCoro is surely gonna be interesting.

YES OAK'S LETTER RELEASE DATE

...kinda expected it to be right after the Secret Key event, though. I'm pretty sure that was the case for the Member's Card, being released the day after the first Secret Key event was... or wait, maybe it was the other way around (second Secret Key event being the day after the Member's Card event ending).

... er, either way, yay Oak's Letter release date. :D

Maxim, the artwork for the Flower Paradise scene looks like nothing Sugimori would ever draw. The recently released artwork with Darkrai holding an orb wasn't his, either (though the style was very similar).

However, the shiny Pichu does look as if it may just be Sugimori's creation.

Couldn't he draw scenes in a bit different way that he draws "normal" people/Pokemon? The Rotom "future" Card artwork (I don't think this have made to any card so far) also looks very "Not Sugimori" but it is undoubtedly him.

Well, even if that's not Sugimori, I hope he draws more scenes for upcoming games (remakes...?). Those scenes are also enjoyable. We've got already a few of them (those Wi-Fi Plaza Trainers, Distortion World Scene, Scene with Shaymin Formes) and I liked all of them.

But the artwork with the Giratina standing before the other two dragons is CERTAINLY Sugimori's!

The Rotom artwork diverged from the standard style to give a feeling of plasma. The Shaymin drawn here, much like in last year's artwork that promoted Sky Forme, isn't smooth enough. Not only that, but the human characters seem to follow a chibi style (not unlike in the pieces for Diamond and Pearl's Underground and Platinum's Wi-Fi Plaza), which I don't believe Sugimori has ever done.

But the artwork with the Giratina standing before the other two dragons is CERTAINLY Sugimori's!

It didn't look that way to me. I also recall another artist being credited somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now.

Man, I can't wait for this to come to America. I want that shiny Pichu, no matter how similar it might look compared to normal.

And I always thought that the in-game Shaymin might unlock the Gracedia flower. After this for those in Japan, now they won't have to choose between Sky or Land, since some of them might have two.

I feel like an idiot for never realizing that Pichu has such an awesome design.

Also, if no one would have told me the Pichu was shiny, I never would've known! The color seems like one in the same.

The Dragon trio wallpaper is definately Sugimori's, albeit much more comparible to his other artwork in terms of color and line rather than the regular pokémon fare. The scenery in particular is pretty much the same as his usual stuff though, especially if you've seen the Dungeon box art in high quality.

You know? Events mostly usually happen in Japan first before anyone else has the events. It has always been this way since 2007 with the Darkrai event on July 14, a week after my 16th birthday, with Movie Passes for those who flew to Japan or live in Japan to go see the Darkrai Movie. Then the event came out in the U.S. so we were starting to being able to obtain Darkrai legitly. Then the Shaymin event a year later in Japan. So then again, if those events occured in Japan first and since Japan is on this planet on some part of the Earth West of the International Dateline and from where I live, regardless, it is more likely that unprecedented Wi-Fi event will be available in just Japan first and then spread to all players of Platinum a year later, or within the next year. Trust me on this. To acquire legitly the Oak's Letter and Shiny Pic, without having to use Action Replay or Gameshark to use the codes to hack it since I heard about a lot of hacked Pokes and items on Serebii, I'm assuming the Oak's Letter was one of them. Trust me. What's the Shiny Pic? I get what the Oak's Letter is since I've been exposed to it before playing Red, Blue, Yellow, though I never actually got through all the games, but I don't get what Shiny Pics are.

Also looking at the topic, does that mean they're going to start having shiny events? I know they've been banned somewhere on Wifi Chat there, because most shiny legendaries are hacked and you can't acquire them at the least legitly like Shiny Mew for example. It's probably hacked.
