I never liked R/S/E at all to me it was too bland and had too many water routes, the E4 were HARD but I can't say the same for the later gyms which didn't impress me at all much I had more fun at the last part of the game then I did early on but I guess it's just me :embarass:

What were your least favorite pkmn game?

That I've played? Probably Pokemon Snap, I don't see why some people like it so much. I found it kinda blah.

Pokemon Colosseum.

I truly started dozing off one time while playing it, I found it so boring. The battles somehow felt even slower than those in the main series, the graphics were craptastic, and I will never be a fan of not being able to catch your own Pokemon. The whole mechanic behind taking Shadow Pokemon from other people was just no fun at all.

It didn't have the good music that the other games have, and the Pokemon character models were almost exactly the same as those in the previous N64 Stadium games. I can't find one part about the game I liked.

EDIT: Oh, for main series, than Pearl Version. I loved Platinum, but Pearl was excruciating slow and dull. That, and the Gen. IV Pokemon leave a lot to be desired, and the Sinnoh region is a bit "blah."

I found the lack of post game on Black & White a bit of a let down. The same could be said with Red, Blue & Yellow but Yellow was just so great

Aw...one of the reasons why I loved playing R/S/E were the abundance of water routes...

I love all the Pokemon games, but my least favorite is Gen I. The plot just isn't as deep in Gen I as the plots in the other gens.

All of the main series games are great, and it's usually the side-games that are really not so good, but if I had to pick, I'd say D/P/Pt. I'm almost done with Platinum, and nothing in it was really that exciting. It was pretty good, but Sinnoh is just ehh. I'm nowhere near finishing Black, and I know gen V gets lots of hate/love, so I'm not gonna judge until I finish the entire game.

Diamond and Pearl. Platinum is amazing, but DP is too frickin slow (including while surfing), and there is only 151 Pokémon available in the DP Sinnoh Dex. It led to the Volkner and Flint problems.

Red was horrible to me, both graphics(I mean, for that time) and story line. I know it's old and had limitations, but there was no exitement. If wasn't for Yellow's updated graphics, I might have not been the Pokemon fan I am today.

I wasn't a huge fan of D/P/Pt, but after beating Pearl I especially couldn't stand Diamond. I also didn't like the short post-game for Black. I managed to catch the muskedeers, Kyurem, and my Kami in less than an hour.

I loved all the games, but my least favorite is DEFINITELY Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

Of the ones I've played, Fire Red (which I guess would be Red on the poll there...). I know Pokemon games aren't exactly known for their plot, but FR was just this directionless mess. Like, you could go straight from beating up Giovanni at one base to beating him at Saffron, and there were multiple "I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing next" moments. I'm not saying the games have to be as linear as BW was, but a push in the next direction would be nice... Oh, and Gym Guy's dull surprise reaction to the gym leader being Team Rocket's boss was fail.

I will say I really liked the Sevii Islands, though.

I love all the main series games, but my least favorite were R/S/E. I just don't like Hoenn much. I HATE water routes. It was hell. It's probably why I loved B/W so much, Surf is optional :3

I'm gonna have to go with RBY. They aren't bad, they just are more bland compared to the other games.

I didn't particularly like III or IV. At the time, my least favorite was definitely III. But most of what I didn't like about it were the changes and incompatibilities when comparing it to older games. But all the games are that way now, so it's less clear which is worse -- III or IV.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I love the Sevii Islands too :) Great music.

Still, I can't say I actually disliked the game as a whole. I really do like every game I've played.

I'm going to have to be different and say Gold/Silver/Crystal. (Not the remakes though cos I haven't played them yet). I like all of the Pokemon games but the Gen 2 were my least faves. I was disappointed with the storyline...you fight Team Rocket again but there isn't really any end. I expected Giovanni to turn up and he wasn't in the games at all :( Also, I reckon Gen 2 had the weakest new Pokemon of the lot (save Espeon and Umbreon, who are awesome).
