Referring to the most recent Bulbacast....

Which legendaries ARE exclusive/not in the animé? In the games and manga, the answer is fairly obvious. Only one. Well, actually... I'll discuss that later.

Articuno
DEFINATELY, more than one. The one seen with Todd and the Orange Islands one HAVE to be different, I mean come on.

Zapdos
Same thing. I believe Ash saw Zapdos outside of the Orange Islands.

Moltres
Duh. More than one.

Mew
Intresting point with Bulbacast.... I believe there IS only one, but PREVIOUSLY, there were more.

Raikou, Entei, Suicune
I believe there is only one. Raikou was seen twice, not once by Ash. Entei was seen once, (Molly's Entei was a flippin dream), and Suicune was BARELY seen by Ash near NEw Bark, and then ACTUALLY seen in the Celebi movie.

EDIT: Suicune was seen in a Johto episode, which occured AFTER Celebi: The Voice of the Forest. Ash didn't go all: OMFGBBQWTF IT'S YOU, so we can assume they're different. Suicune is NOT exclusive.

Ho-oh
Just one.

Lugia,Celebi
Another DUH, neither of these two are exclusive.

So far, all the Hoenn Legendaries are exclusive iirc.

EDIT: There were two Deoxys in the Space Fissure movie, so we now it's not exclusive.

Now a gaming question....

Do Pokémon Colosseum and XD take place in the same dimension as the GBA games? (Which, iirc, all the GBA Games are co-existant, with the third versions, Emerald, Crystal and Yellow taking precedence storyline wise) If yes, that means the beasts/ALL five birds are NOT exclusive. If no, how can two dimensions inter-trade? o_O

Yeah, that's true.

But, Paperfairy, you're also forgetting when Ash saw Suicune in "For Ho-oh The Bells Toll" (which I believe I mentioned in the most recent Bulbacast).

1. Yep, Deoxys is not exclusive, sorry. Post updated.

2. Yep, Suicune is the same, sorry about that.

So... how about my gaming question? o_o;;

I believe the only legendaries that are one-of-a-kind (and I know I've said this before) are Mewtwo and the Regis.

The reason I believe there's more than one Mew is mainly because the one in the first movie not only acts differently from the one in the 8th movie (the one in the first movie never transformed. It also generated pink bubbles, which the Mew in the 8th movie never did) it also never seemed to stray too far from the Tree of The World's Beginning in the first place. Something tells me New Island isn't exactly a hop, skip, and a jump away from that tree, if you know what I mean. ;3

Time to bring upt the amount of times that ash has seenn ho-oh in the anime again
Butb the intresting thing is he has seen it nut it has not featured in a movie
look at it this way
Mewtwo - movie 1 mewtwo returns
Mew movie 1 and movie 8
Articuno
zapdos molttres all in movie 2
Lugia movie 2
Entei movie 3
Suicune movie 4
Rikou legend of thunder tv special
Celebi movie 4
latias latios movie 5
Deoxys all formes movie 7
jirachi movie 6
The regis movie 8
lucario movie 8
with that in mind every single legendary has featured in a movie except ho-oh
i mean even groudon and kyogre are in the ninth film
what arte your theories on this

Not to mention the fact that we saw the Mew of the first movie flying a long way to get to New Island.

Groudon isn't in movie 9. It kinda got a part in movie 6 but I'm not sure how much that counts.

Ho-oh is very significant. If the anime has a proper conclusion then it will get a larger role then.

I figured it was coming from South America, where the movie started out in. You know.. with those scientists and the Mew fossil.

I still don't believe it was the same one from the 8th movie, because like I said in my post, they acted different. ;3

Agreeing with Akerin. They acted VERY different.

So, can anyone answer my gaming question? v_v

Sorry Paperfairy. n_n; I'd answer your question, but I'm not sure either.

(back on topic):
Here's another theory on Mewtwo that I heard someone mention somewhere else. If I remember right, in the movie the scientists said that there were 'many failed attempts' but he didn't say whether any of those attempts died or not. This person believed there are actually many weaker, "reject" Mewtwos out there.

Personally I still believe there's just one though.

"For years we struggled to successfully clone a Pokémon to prove our theories but you're the first specimin to survive."

Moltras, zapidos, and articuno were used in the red and blue serise manga team rocket fused them together to create the ultimate pokemon had the wings of a moltras, and body of a moltras and has the three birds as heads also under the moltras wings is articuno and on the other side was Zapidos wings...Red took it out with pikachu eventually...defeated it...after defeated the rocket's fled and red, blue, PiPi (the talking clefairy), and pikachu revived the pokemon back to normal and let them go...and most of the movies are from the mnga serises and Ho_Oh was used in the first manga book used after the first episodes...

I think there's more than one Kyogre since I doubt the one in the next movie will be the same as the one in the Groudon vs Kyogre episode

In the manga, there is ONE of each legendary. However, Raikou might have an dupliacte.... *shrugs*

And yeah, I don't think Kyogre will be a different one. I mean COME ON, it's KYOGRE. GOD of the sea. v_v

mabey but that'd just be because they won't make a referance even if it is the same kyogre.

That brings up a question. If Kyorge is the god of the sea, what does that make the Lugia from the second movie? I didn't see the Japanese version, but wasn't he referred to as a god in that?

Nope, Lugia was just another poke. Kyogre CREATED the oceans, Groudon CREATED the Earth. Lugia did nothing. Without Kyogre, Lugia wouldn't be the beast of the sea.

I mean, there COULD be another Kyogre, but I highly doubt it.
