Hi,

please list any help you have on tips to catch legendary pokemon besides cheat, event and holding the a button. (I'm trying to catch Lati@s, Deoxys and the Regis)

Thanks,
Blaziken

For the Latis, you need luck to encounter them. Once you do, then you can track them with your Pokedex. Use a Wobbuffet with good Sp. Def. It's ability will prevent them from fleeing, and you don't want Mirror Coat to be too powerful, so it has to do less damage, hence the sp. def

There's no way to encounter Deoxys other than by event, and I'm sorry to say that all the events are over.

For the Regis, I'd bring something to put them to sleep, and LOTS of ultra & Timer balls. You'll need them.

I've already tryed to track Latios, but it suddenly changes its pattern.
Regis are REALLY hard I used 32 ultra balls on Regice and didn't catch it.
You can get Deoxys on FR/LG by unlocking mystery gift and getting Aurora ticket.

Switch the master ball to your 6th slot, fly to Veridian and watch the old man catch Weedle

Why is it the stuff I find hard to do everyone else finds esy and vice versa?

Paralyze any and all legendaries and use approx. 832748953784395724 Ultra Balls. I've never caught the Latis (yet) but I caught the Regis, Mewtwo and company pretty easily through paralysis.

Timer Balls are your friend. I caught all the Regis with them without much difficulty after 30 turns in each battle. (Bear in mind that Dig/Fly/Dive/etc count as one turn even though the opponent attacks twice.)

Hey, if you got FRLG, then you could train a ariados with spider web. I am sure that would be less risky than a wobbuffet. I mean they do learn night shade and all. Also, you could breed for signal beam and get a super effective attack.

But I guess the speed thing would be a problem. Still, for me wobbs always seemed a bit dangerous on legendaries.

Uh, I may be wrong but to track latios/latias DON'T use any HM but surf...
Atleast someone told me that...

I dont know why, but in my past four files on ruby/emerald, I've found latios and latias in the patch of grass across from the daycare center.

I've always found them in the grass across the pond from Mauville. I always do, in every game... maybe Legendaries like me? o.0

I've just used Master Balls for the Latis. As for the Regis, I bring in a tank, like Snorlax or a fast paralyzer, like jolteon, and hindered them that way.

For the Regis, I have had better luck putting them to sleep/paralyze w/ Gardevoir, and for some odd reason, great balls have always been my best friend, as for Latias(os), I bring wobby or master ball em'.
