What was the final 6 you used in your playthrough? I love seeing the teams people use in pokemon games, even when there isn't an actual "hall of fame."
Here's mine:
1000017972.jpg

Willow the meganium (can mega)
Andromeda the shiny starmie (can mega)
Nacho the hawlucha (can mega)
Nevada the hippowdon
Marshmallow the furfrou
Charm the alpha klefki

Here's my team I finished the game with: Emboar, Chesnaught, Scolipede (Alpha), Absol, Eelektross, Excadrill (Alpha). Chesnaught is the Chespin from one of those early sidequests, and Absol is the Rogue Mega Absol from the storyline. It sucks I didn't have access to Mega Chesnaught during my playthrough, but I do plan to get the Chesnaughtite next month. Also yeah, a proper Hall of Fame would have been nice.

Here was my team

Non-image version is basically Meganium, Meowstic, Excadrill, Scolipede, Tyrantrum, and Absol.

I was deadset on Meganium and Scolipede for their megas, and Meowstic and Tyrantrum cuz I'll take any opportunity to use em lmao. Excadrill came about to take down one of the Rogues that otherwise would've stopped me and later stuck around (was honestly probably my mvp), and Absol was the Rogue one I had one hand as an easy mega for other rogues.

Not in the image, but there was also an Amapharos I switched in and out a lot for certain battles, and Xerneas as I used it to take down both L and Zygarde in the post-game (and I'll probably use it in Mega Dimensions too)

No picture, but my team for beating
Ange Floette
was Pekachu the Emboar, Polaris the Froslass, Prancer the Gogoat, Petawatt the Raichu, Patty Wester the Sharpedo, and Deimos the Salamence. I originally wanted to go for an all-Kalos-except-the-starter team, but that idea got abandoned when I decided to follow in the footsteps of my first Y run (my first Pokemon game) and use a Raichu. Then I wanted to have all my nicknames start with the letter P but I couldn't think of anything for the Salamence so I defaulted to a nickname I gave it before (not in a playthrough, in writing).

Aside from those members, there were many more Pokemon in rotation for my team, including Prophecy the Delphox, Pyre the Talonflame, Psyko the Meowstic, Pelagio the Dragapult, Percy the Barbaracle, and Pace the Slowbro. The credits team was just the team I had when I first got to Rank A, and then the climax of the story started happening and I felt I shouldn't switch my team members.

Petal the Meganium
Birthday the Ampharos
Gem the Meowstic
Reaper the Alpha Scolipede
Ramune the Vaporeon
and Phantom the Chandelure

I am quite happy with how my team turned out for this game, especially since I kinda forgot to plan what I wanted to use ahead of time and made a couple of my decisions spontaneously. Petal and Birthday were always going to be on my team, I love Meganium and my first every Ampharos named Birthday was from my playthrough of Pokemon X so I had to bring him back. I used the female Meowstic in my X and Y playthrough and I thought a psychic type would be good so I used the male Meowstic for this one. Reapear was a completely random pick. I was just exploring Wild Zone 5 when I found the alpha Whirlipede and spent so long trying to catch it that a Venipede that respawned spawned as an alpha and I caught that one instead. Something just compelled me to use her and I loved every second of it. I adore Scolipede now. I wanted to use an Eeveelution and it's been awhile since I used Vaporeon so I decided to use Ramune. Then finally we have Phantom who was also an interesting pick. I've wanted to use a Chandelure for a long time but just never got around to it. I thought this would be the game I would but then I saw Froslass' mega and wanted to use a Froslass so bad. I had one on the team for awhile and she was strong but man she could not take a hit. I was struggling training her up. So after I caught Litwick I decided that I was finally going to try using Chandelure and I don't regret my choice at all. Phantom was a menace and i love Chandelure even more now.

My team at the end of the main story.
Rexy, the Tyrantrum
Diabla, the Houndoom (shiny, alpha)
Basil, the Meganium
Saber, the Aegislash (shiny, alpha)
Momo, the Emolga
Burrow, the Diggersby

Also doing another playthrough on my secondary switch profile. I'll be sure to post that team once I'm done there.

i don't have a picture on hand, but i can share my team verbally!

Poppy the Meganium
Rose the Audino
Halo the Absol
Morpho the Altaria
Suilen the Gardevoir
Pastel the Dragonite

i actually went with a theme for naming my team this time around. i decided to name my team after the yumenokessho vocal synths from the bandori franchise, albeit with a few creative liberties. not all of the bands have yumenokesshos yet, and i didn't think some of the names fit this team (cough cough aver), so i improvised on a few other vocal synths and just guessed what i thought their yumenokessho names would be. the yumenokesshos are named after a shortened version of the band name of the singer they are associated with, so i guessed "morpho" for morfonia and "suilen" for raise a suilen. my DLC team will include a delphox named glow for afterglow. i think it's a cute naming scheme even if it's a bit strange for a pokemon game.

I deleted the save guys sorry. But I can still send out a memory of what the team looked like when I defeated you-might-know-who!

Chichi the Meganium (starter)
Shiny Ampharos (forgot its nickname sorry but it did come from that quest)
Risk the Gardevoir (from the pre-order gift)
Damien the Alpha Chandelure (He soloed the final boss cuz towers are weak to flames)
Sharpedo (yeah… I never gave this one a name)
And I am not sure if the sixth member was that Absol from the first Rouge Mega Quest or not… Either way, still good team! And they all had their Mega Stones.

Shoutout to Houndoom and Delphox for being temporary Fire-types to our team.

Why did you delete the save?

I used a pretty wide spread of mons, but my team I used for the climax on my first playthrough was Francisca the Emboar, Sour the Venusaur, Jormundgandr the Alpha Gyarados, Drilliamette the Excadrill, Emmy the Gardevoir, and Feather the Tyranitar.

I also did a second playthrough where I acquired as few Pokémon as possible, and that necessarily resulted in a team of my starter Meganium Rose (any starter works but Chikorita evolves the earliest, making for the shortest grind to get a fifth mon in your dex for Mable, the fourth is Pichu which you can evolve and trade for Bois, I tried making Pikachu my fifth but trust me grinding your starter and/or Fletchling is way easier since you don't get access to cafés until you reach the Looker Bureau for the first time), Bolt the Talonflame and Spades the Diggersby from the catching tutorial, Bois the legendary Heracross from the mandatory side quest, Seer the rogue Absol (thank goodness she learns Ice Beam so you can get into the sewers), and Ring the Klefki you catch in the Sewers while looking for Gwynn.

My team for legends ZA? Um... funny you ask.
ZATeam.jpg

From left to right, top to bottom
Kris, Diantha, Sabrina, Roxie, Mallow, Falkner, Whitney, Leon, Giacomo, Karen, Valerie, Riley, Dawn, Bugsy, Shauna, Lacey, Candice, and Drake.

Chris P the Emboar: Kind of carried me through the game, especially the early parts. 9 times out of ten will get caught in ZA Royales because of how damn slow he is.

Da Bug 3 the Scollipede: My third bug type caught, the only one I stuck with. Is hard carried by infestation-toxic.

The Puker the (Shiny) Victreebell: Also uses infestation-toxic (spikes), but can also be annoying and heal with giga drain.

The Guy the (Female) Blastoise: My only ranged attacker lol (The Puker is more of a mid ranged fella).

Da Bomb the Garchomp: Undoubtedly my hardest hitter. My only regret is that I couldn’t get earthquake on it during my playthrough.

The Unnamed the Skarmory: Has fast attacks and does zero damage. Basically a tickle monster.

  • Toto the Feraligatr: Starters usually carry me and everyone's teams but this time boy that's an understatement, It shined in every battle with strong attacks and great coverage, despite the mediocre Mega design I'm delighted to have chosen it.
  • Ginebra the Aegislash: A bit slow due to the form change, but it compensates that with decent Attack and coverage. I also liked it was easy to find.
  • Hopper the Scolipede: Reliable, killed Fairies within seconds and I loved fulfilling my dream of training it with an amazing Mega. Poison moves were hard to use though because almost every Grass-type in the game is part Poison or Ghost.
  • Ricochet the Hawlucha: I knew it would be a glass cannon, and it was but it's still useful to use, can hit very hard.
  • George the Simisage: I did not used it that much but it still hold its own, it was great to finally have an usable version of Focus Punch.
  • Piecito the Aurorus: I thought it was not going to meet expectation with all those weaknesses, but it was a nice surprise, Ice-types steal the show in the online mode and can hit hard.

Primarily Leafeon♀, Metagross (Shiny), Chandelure♀, Scolipede♂, Carbink and Absol♂, though I also had on rotation Delphox♀, Lopunny♀ (Shiny), Banette♀, Garbador♀, Aegislash♀, Gallade♂ and Goodra♀.

Leafeon, Scolipede & Metagross are permanent fixtures, and the rest rotate out as necessary. Any 'mon that can Mega Evolve had a Mega Stone, but only Absol was an Alpha.

ZA really spoiled me by including so many of my all-time favourites! I found it challenging to settle on just a final team of six.
