Heyo im lookin for legit shinys, meaning it can be renamed, i dont mind if they are hacked, or rgn or pokesaved. I have a shiny tangrowth im willing to trade+ tms, masterballs, rare items, and any pokes but non shiny and have differnt forms like shaymin.

I think he means legit looking, meaning they have regular stats and abilities, and such. But, do you have a soulsilver groudon?

the difference between legal, legit, and hacked

from reading various web sites, the common phrasing seems to be...

  • legal: 100% utterly done with only default, in-game experiences. this usually also includes pokemon found by chaining, rng, glitches, etc because those experiences are possible within the original game.
  • legit: any pokemon that looks legal and could conceivably be found within the original game, no matter how unlikely. all that matters is that it *could* be found. this category includes both hacked pokemon that look legal as well as actual legal. (you can think of it as legal is a square and legit is a rectangle.)
  • hacked: hacked, regardless of what it looks like, but most often it's used to refer to the obviously hacked variety.

the definition from the hacked forum on this site explains what the hacked forum crowd uses for terminology, though it goes into specifics that most won't care about and only the hacked forum crowd would use:

Do you have any power items (power anklett, etc...)
I can offer you a shiny lvl 1 (UT) Rotom (hacked) if you do.

Thanks!
