Lethal Harmless Powers as defined by TV Tropes.

Using said harmless power in a horrifyingly lethal way.

Applying this to Pokémon, what are some suggestions for moves that are technically non-damaging but can be (ab)used to cause damage?

The only one I can think of is using Protect to trap someone or crush them or using it as a bludgeon.

"Wrap around the opponent's neck!" Pokémon does as such, wraps around the neck of it's opponent and crushes. Suffocation until death.

I have used Sunny Day as a mildly damaging move on its own right before, by pulling enough sunlight to fully illuminate a gym and dry up a Water type by the increased heat it caused... even when it is a Fire type move.

Drowning someone with Splash, lol.

I was thinking of using it against a Fire type... :p

Any sort of non-damaging water move move that can be used to "put out" an applicable fire Pokémon, or a non-damaging Fire move used to ignite grass-types. Smokescreen thick enough to cause suffocation. Any sort of move that hinders movement while a non-aquatic Pokémon is underwater... that's what's coming to mind immediately, at least.

I can't remember, but is Smog a non-damaging move? If so, then I guess you could fire it at point-blank range down an opponent's lungs. That might be fatal.

Using Gastro Acid to burn, blind or disintegrate someone.

Also, dunno if this counts as "harmless", being an entry hazard, but getting a Forretress (or trap-layer of your choice) to lay Toxic Spikes/Spikes/Stealth Rock all over a floor or other surface, right before someone falls onto it.

Willo Wisp: It is a fucking fireball.
