Well this is laaaaaaaaateeeee, school kind of got in the way a lot so I wasn't able to properly get this done before anything. But anyways, here's the start up so hopefully we can get things started properly.

***

"You're way too stiff, you have to loosen up more!' came the thunderous bellow of a black suited old man. He was sitting on a black chair inside of a large completely black room, the only light in the room came from the lamps hanging off from the roof that shone down on the center of the room where multiple dummies had been set up.

Tyler's pants were loud and clear as he moved and spun around to throw a whip-like kick at one of the dummies, letting out a groan when his now red leg made contact with the dummy once more. He stepped back, wiping some sweat off of his face as he tried to regain his composure. "You're still too slow and while your stamina has increased you still get tired easily, once you start working properly you don't know how long you might have to fight for so this is still not nearly good enough."

The man got up from his seat and walked over towards Tyler, his cut almost shaved silver hair and wrinkled face came into view. His face showed a commanding and serious expression but it also gave the feeling of someone that had seen many things in his life and who spoke from experience. "In war not being physically fit is just as bad as not being mentally fit...how are your grades by the way?"

"School just started, but I've been doing well,' Tyler sighed as he walked sorely towards the edge of the room and grabbed a water bottle.

"Well is not enough, you must focus and get the best grades, you should also learn more about the world, look things up on the internet, read some books, knowledge is also a good weapon,' the man stated sternly before turning towards the door. "This'll be all for today, you should go, though do remember our agreement."

"Yeah, I know sir,' Tyler stated dryly as he put on his shirt and began walking out of the room.

A few minutes later Tyler had made his way out into the busy streets of Skyreach, his head turning back to look at the large black building that stood in front of him. He still wasn't sure what kind of facility it was but he knew one thing. Ever since 3 months back Tyler had been training there behind his friend's back, he still felt bad for it but he knew that unless he took that chance he wouldn't be able to get enough proper training in order to become a Hero, that being if the others even decided to be Heroes.

"Well, time to go to class," Tyler said as he quickly made his way back to the university.

"And in latest news reports of the recent theft incidents keep coming in, the mysterious Shadow Thief still hasn't left a clue, though the police are doing their best to track down this person.'

Kyle stared at his laptop screen, sitting on the couch in his and Tyler's dorm room as he listened to the CNN news report. He began scrolling down, his eyes looking attentively at the comment sections as people spoke their uneasiness and disbelief of the issue while others put up links leading to videos showing people doing other amazing feats.

Powers. They were things that he hadn't even thought about till only 6 months before after he and others discovered they had them and began practicing with them. They had tried to keep it a secret but now word about Powers existing was getting out more often. There still hadn't been any events to really worry about and so far the only sightings of Powers had been through short videos posted by random people that were still being treated with disbelief. Of course, he knew that it was just a matter of time before more Power users appeared and used their Powers for evil.

At first Kyle had decided to just research on these things, he wanted to learn more about Powers, where they had come from and what made them tick, but these events had made him thing that maybe his view was slightly erroneous.

"Well, no point in focusing on this I guess,' he said as he adjusted his glasses and closed the laptop. "I don't have class right now so I guess I'll go to the base."

OOC; So right now just post with your characters going about their normal day or just waking up or doing something ordinary xD

Grim slowly opened his eyes as sunlight streamed through the window. He sat up in bed looking around the room. Natalie lay next to him, their clothes strewn across the floor as per usual. Cell phones were on the night stand as well as his switch blade. The two weren’t dating, just friends with benefits since neither were in any kind of official relationship. Natalie wasn’t chasing anyone, and Eva had too much of an obsession for Tyler to care about the blood user.

His eyes landed on his switchblade and switched to his arms. It always amazed him how despite constantly slicing himself, he never scarred. His skin was flawless and smooth as a baby’s bottom. Checking the time on his phone he noticed class started soon. Taking the blade he slice his arm, sending the blood into his pants and moving them. He began singing Renegade by Styx quietly, having the pants move slowly. Then once the song became more upbeat, he slightly raised his voice and made the pants dance faster over Natalie.

After some singing the pants fell onto her, showing she was awake and clearly amused. “Bravo,” she clapped.

Grim grinned externally, but internally he was cursing. A while ago his powers had started acting up, and that meant growing. Growing for him was not something he wanted since when they had formed, it resulted in him killing his family. He really didn’t want that happening again. Regardless he kept this new development hidden from everyone, even Natalie who understood it more than anyone he knew. Luckily his power had failed with the pants at the perfect time in the song so it didn’t seem strange.

“Thank you, thank you. I’m here every morning,” he jokingly bowed. “Anyways rise and shine sleeping beauty. We have to attend this thing called class.”

Belle sat on the couch in her apartment, staring at the sheet music sitting in front of her. Odd enough, it had been a while since she first discovered she had powers. While she was a bit shaky with her skills at first, she eventually learned how to control them, and use them to her advantage. One of these skills was learning how to control the air she blew into her saxophone. Doing this let her achieve a perfect tone quality and sound. Belle pulled a mechanical pencil from her backpack and began to mark parts of her music. A huge test was coming up for her, and she needed to perfect the rhythm that was on the page.

"Okay sir, that'll be ten dollars." Manny said to the customer standing in front of him. He worked at a flower shop near the school; it was how he made a living considering he didn't go to college. Over the past few months, he had been working on his power. Copying himself, or as he liked to call it, duplication. He managed to learn how to create his clones for an extended amount of time. This was how he easily finished work at his house for his parents. Numerous tasks were completed in a short amount of time just because of his power. To him, it was a curse and a blessing.

((Yeah, this is extremely long. I got carried away. Imo it's a good read, but if you want to skip it, I have summarised it at the end))

Phil woke up. Well, not exactly. He hadn't been asleep, he just had his eyes closed and head on the table. He was thinking of ways to improve Marvel vs DC. It was pretty much done, but he wanted to add some more features to it. He had woken up because he was struck by an idea. Smiling to himself, he scrolled back to the code for the title screen. He opened up Chrome, and, leaning back in his chair, started reading up on the Konami Code.

A few hours later: Phil looked at the clock. It read 7:23. Was that AM or PM? Phil had no idea. He had been at this for far too long, and his thinking sessions made it hard for him to keep track of time. He had long since disabled the clock on his laptop, as time only proved to be a distraction. He had also boarded the windows so as to ignore the day-night cycle and just work. He had long since finished his supply of snacks, and he was hungry. "Maybe McDonald's is open", he thought to himself, and headed out to grab breakfast or dinner or whatever the hell this was.

He stepped out, and was greeted by the sun. "Morning, then, I guess", he said to himself. He got on his skateboard, something he had learned to ride only a few months ago.

On the way, he couldn't help thinking about Natalie. He had tried multiple times to ask her out, but his courage had failed him every time. He had sent her an e-mail earlier (how much earlier? He had no idea) telling her that he had something to tell her the next time they met. This was an attempt to stop himself from chickening out, but he didn't know if it would work. He hoped it would, as he really liked her. Her looks, her hair. Her attitude. Her slamming him into a wall. Her lying outside Kyle's mansion in a... "Snap out of it, man", he told himself. "Eat, and get back to coding. You gave yourself a deadline, remember?"

Fifteen minutes later, he was sitting in McDonald's, eating the breakfast meal. Thinking about Natalie had lead him to thinking about the rest of the group. They had come far, alright. They could pass for the Teen Titans. They weren't Justice League level. Yet. They would get there, no doubt. He texted Tyler, who he saw as team leader for some reason, (maybe because Flaze runs the RP) "Bro, when's the next meetup?"

Another fifteen minutes later, he was back to writing code for a feature he knew the other members would love.

((Summary: Yeah, Phil is still coding his game. He's working on a new feature involving the Konami code that he thinks the rest of the team will enjoy. He went to McD's for breakfast, and got back to coding. Earlier, he had e-mailed Natalie, saying he wanted to tell her something the next time they met, in an effort to stop himself chickening out like he did multiple times previously. He also texted Tyler, asking when the meetup would be. He also broke the fourth wall, just for fun))

Standing in front of her mirror, Ayana rubbed her eyes as examined herself. White sleeveless turtleneck, black bands on her wrists, black jeans and black and red sneakers. A normal attire for a semi-normal girl.

The fact that school was beginning gave her a small, indiscernible twist in her stomach. What would be in store today? A few surprises, she was sure - hopefully nothing too jarring. It wasn't entirely for fear of her safety, but also for her sanity. Considering. But, just like always, she would leave early, going up to the school so that she could read in peace. She loved the wee hours of the morning, where it was just her studying inside of the library by herself with her insulated music.

Ayana turned, looking to her bed. It was made, things were in order... time to go before the crowd starts making their way to into the school. It would take her approximately ten minutes to get there; if nothing went off without a hitch, she would have an hour-and-a-half to herself. She nodded, grabbing her bag before making her way toward the door, opening it and leaving.

"Oh," she said to herself. She forgot her keys. Turning her head, she looked to the counter beyond the door; the keys levitated, bringing themselves to her slowly. After locking the door, she made to leave toward the train station.

Iberia da Vinci was heading to class, per usual. She had English first, a little different from last year. This was one of her stronger classes, but still was nevertheless boring. With a small sigh, she shoved the door open and took a seat. This was bound to be a long day, Vin thought with a sigh.

It was, without a doubt, Killian da Vinci whom loved causing trouble for others - and for an older sibling, he was quite childish when it came to pranks; except his pranks more than often involved murder. The pale, olive skinned man sat upon the rooftop of one of the college's buildings. "I spy, with my little eye.. an Iberia da Vinci! Dear sister, how I wish to kill you.." the Irish vigilante murmured in a sing-song voice, eyes dark with a wicked grin plastered to his face. Killian's hand begun to glow with a red-purple aura - the fiery Chaos energy swirled about his hand, enveloping the pale skin - which was unscathed, to say in the least - but it's target most certainly wouldn't be, when he was done with her.

"Oh right...classes exist, I had forgotten," Natalie laughed as she stood up and began to put on her own clothes. She looked at Grim's back for a moment as she got dressed and brushed her hair back. She had noticed something off about his Powers and the earlier display had thrown her off a little as well as to what might be going on. It kind of made her wonder if she and Grim were the only ones having problems with theirs and maybe it was mostly because they had had them for longer than the others.

"Oh, we can't go to class on an empty stomach either," Natalie replied with a grin. She had been taking an interest in cooking as of late so she grabbed any chance she could get, unfortunately she didn't know if her cooking was safe for anyone else but herself so she'd rather grab any chances she could at having guinea pigs to taste it. "You can tell me how it is."

Tyler had made his way to his Physics Class, a large frown going through his face. The teacher for his physics class was Mr.Tentron, the man that had also taught him chemistry and someone that Tyler didn't get along with in particular. The man was pretty old, seemingly in his mid to late 60s and being completely bald and wrinke, Tyler had also noticed that he was walking with a limp compared to the year before. "So glad you could take a moment out of your busy schedule to join us Mr. Lane," Tyler heard Tentron groan as he walked into the classroom and noticed that the room was already full.

"Sory Mr. Tentron, I had to tend to something," Tyler said with a quick nod before he started to walk around looking for seats.

"Well now if we can finally get class started, though I don't see a point if I'll get sacked anyway," Mr. Tentron stated, the last part was muttered though so that the rest of the class wouldn't listen.

Tyler sat down on his seat, a bored expression quickly crossed his face. A red gleam appeared on his green eyes as he decided to activate his Powers. His Power wasn't very useful in combat, only allowing him to see red auras in those that had Powers as well as analyze what that Person's power was and did. He liked to use it in moments like these in order to scout though.

This particular day he was surprised by what he found. He hadn't paid any attention to it before but he could now see a red aura surrounding Mr.Tentron. "Well shit."

Kyle had class and he was usually a responsible student too but this time he had decided that it was best if he skipped out, he had other reasons though.

Kyle had made his way to an abandoned construction site on the outskirts of the city not too far from the university. Next to it was an abandoned warehouse where he as well as the others usually met up and trained with their Powers. Back when they had fist found the warehouse it was pretty rundown but now it had at least been made into a place people could live in, now having electricity, a television and proper seats and couches a long with two small beds on the end. He had also installed a computer and a radio transmitter. "It's still pretty simple though I guess it's okay," Kyle pointed out. "All right, time to get to work."

"Tell you how it is? Oh boy, I better prepare my stomach," he teased her, stretching as he finished dressing. When she wasn't looking he once again practiced his powers, and once again failed, sighing at his failure. Him and Natalie remained the only ones to have issues with their powers. He assumed it was due to how long they had them for as opposed to the others. Eva marked the only other one to counter them in terms of years, and considering she was still learning the limits of hers, they wouldn't know if hers started acting wonky.

````````````````````
Eva sat on her bed, typing away at her computer for her programming class. Her dorm room over the past few months contained many different plants due to her control over her power. She even had a tank of worms, and was more comfortable with the idea of draining even a plants life. It certainly made everything more simpler, and she could even have a semblance of life, if she wasn't crushing on someone with a girlfriend, like say Tyler. She sighed as he popped into her head again. Getting up she walked over to one of the plants, using her powers to make it grow more. The feeling always calmed her whenever she was feeling down.
Summer's eyes flickered open and she noticed two things right away. The first was that she wasn't at home, nor was she at any place she had spent the night in the past (Natalie's, Kyle's etc). The second was that she was in what appeared to be a hotel suite, and oh what a suite it was. She smiled, the memory of the previous night slowly coming back to her. The guy was fun, he was charming and oh boy was he rich. That and he was cute. She had no illusions, he was very much the type who kept a girl in every city. But she didn't mind being one of those... not if he treated her like this every time he came to town. She quickly got up and changed, only noticing the note left on the nightstand just as she was headed for the door.
Summer,
What a night. You'll definitely be the first person I call next time I'm in town. Probably the only actually.
With love,
Dustin
She was grinning as she changed the note into a bottle of water using her powers and walked out into the morning air. Not to classes but to home. She needed to check on the puppy.
Wes frowned as he stared out a window, "Why is this so terribly boring.." he thought to himself, sitting in class. Looking down at the notes that he had already taken, he found his attention shifting towards his powers and what they could do. Wes had been practicing the past few weeks on his own, training to test how far he could take his abilities, finding the results to be satisfactory. He turned his attention to the clock, thinking. "Its only been 5 minutes? Ugh"
The library was just as quiet as she'd expected. Only a sparse amount of people were there during this time of morning, most having to go to either their early morning classes or simply opting to skip out. Today, her only class of the day started in an hour, giving her ample time to work on what she needed to at the moment.
Sitting at an empty table, headphones set to a medium volume, she took out a book. Internal Manifest, a book entirely about the reverse-engineering of mechanics, was a thick read - somewhere around 650 pages of content. Twenty percent of the book was high-level reverse engineering theory and formulas. Admittedly, there were a lot of things she could not understand in the book, but the majority of it came to her from the experience she had with her own weapons.
Inside of her bag was a book on Magnetism. It was not only a way for her to discern the nature of her power, but also a strategy guide.
Natalie had decided to head for the library with Grim once she had remembered that she didn't have any classes in the morning, she wasn't sure if Grim did but she figured that he'd just say something if he needed to go to class himself. Once they arrived she was quick on looking up some books on cooking as well as some other books for her class. "Oh and have you heard of those weird news regarding Power users and stuff," she said as she took out one of the books from the shelves and looked at it. "To be honest I'm kind of thinking that maybe we really have no choice but to help out with that, I'm afraid that more people could do things like what that ghost guy did last year."
She grabbed the book and started heading towards a table, her eyes falling on the girl that was reading what looked like a really large book to Natalie, causing her eyes to widen in amazement. "That's a pretty big book you've got there," she said to the girl as she walked over and sat down on the seat opposite to her.
During classes Tyler had checked his phone and saw Phil's text, however, he had decided to reply to it after class ended. Of course, once his class ended he decided to go to Mr.Tentron and talk to him. "What is it Mr. Lane?' Tentron asked with a frown once Tyler walked down to him.
"Sir, I ned to talk to you um...it's about um....well, have you been feeling odd lately?" Tyler asked curiously, noticing that he didn't seem amused by Tyler's statement.
"Yes I have, I've lost control of my bladder and my legs are giving out, you know, that's what I get for aging I guess," he stated bitterly before turning towards the door. 'Now if you'll excuse me, I must go."
With that Tyler just stared at Tentron's back as he saw him leave the classroom. He sighed, knowing that the way he had handled the situation could've been a lot better. Even so, he wasn't exactly sure how to go about targeting the issue, usually he would try and make friends with the person in question but he and Mr. Tentron weren't in the best of relationships. "Maybe the others will know what to do."
With that he took out his cell phone and accessed Phil's message. "I don't know, I'll have to ask Kyle if we can gather today, something just came up that I kind of need you guys's help for."
Grim followed Natalie to the library. He was about to remind her of class before realizing he had the day wrong. He didn't have class till night that day, and it was safe to say he felt embarrassed about it, not that he showed it. New semesters were always iffy for him since he generally had to get off of his old schedule and make his new one considering it used to contain stalking Eva...yeah...He noticed Natalie greet some other girl, curious he followed her. "Looks like every other college text book to me," he commented.
"Kk, keep me posted, k?" He replied.
OOC: Has Alex (that was his name right? Grim in disguise?) kept in touch with Phil? Also, what happened to the guy who killed people with the ghost figure? Last I remember, he wanted to join us, right? Dang, I just can't remember his name.
Vin sighed inwardly, boredly watching the old English teacher, Mr. Demoir. He was almost 70, if she recalled - who would even still be teaching by 69? His bones must be killing the poor guy," Vin thought in silence.
Killian chuckled to himself, leaping down from the building - only for his body to evaporate into Chaos Energy. Reforming into solidity, the rogue Power User roamed the University's streets in search of a victim that would do for now, until he could catch Vin alone.
Ayana looked up from her reading, her gaze falling on the two. The music was low enough that she could hear the comments made by them. Any other college textbook? Hardly; it was a condensed, business-grade book on taking apart mechanics. But, she didn't voice that.
"Didn't think anyone came over to this side," truthfully, she was a bit surprised that people cared enough to come to the side of the library completely surrounded by bookshelves. She had always assumed that they wanted to be more sociable.
"This is the best side. No one to bother you normally. Plus easier to sneak in snacks for while studying too," he yawned. It was the truth, this part of the library wa one of his favorite areas to study in due to his room being too distracting.
"Plus, we couldn't just overlook a cute girl that like you,' Natalie teased before chuckling. 'Nah just kidding, but I was pretty curious about what you're reading," she said before pointing towards the book. "Magnetism right?" she stated as she tried her best to read the title of the book.
Killian, finding nothing interesting, made his way to the library. He opened the door, letting a twisted grin cross his face. So many people! The Irish mercenary slowly walked towards the shelves stacked with books, his chaos-energy engulfed hand reaching for one of the books - the contact would surely ignite the book, and everything else around it. Destruction seemed to be his strong point.
