I've just finished training a team up to level 50 to use in Battle Revolution, and I've started training them up to level 100 to use in competitive battles.

It seems like it's going to be a slow and long job. Anyone who has trained up to level 100 have any good tips on where and how to train?

For EV training, find a pokemon with the right ev boost and stick to it. Better if you can find a trainer that has only one type of ev on their entire team. As for power levelling, I've always found the exterior of Stark Mountain to be a good place to train, because it has mid-50's wild pokemon and a lady that heals your pogeys on route 227, right off Stark.

Yeah, I've got the EV-training done long time ago.

So kill level 50's until level 100? Boy, that'll sure take some time.

get a lucky egg from a chansey, then train on the route above the resort area

I've been trying to get a lucky egg for weeks. If I ever see another Chansey, I'm going to scream.

I bet the lucky egg was on all those Chanseys I accidentally killed.

Yeah, im training my pokes to level 100. i use spring path and e4, if i can be bothered to go through the whole 5 trainers... and pokerus helps level up too :XD2:

Male Skitty with Cute Charm and Covet, around Level 40 is your best bet. The Cute Charm (MALE ONLY) will increase your chances of finding a Chansey as it increases possibility of finding a female. Then, use the PokeRadar, lots-o-Leppa Berries, and Covet to nab yourself a Lucky Egg.

You could also use Compoundeyes, but Chansey is so rare, you'd be better off using the aforementioned method as it makes longer chains easier.

better still, get something with frisk and theif AND a male skitty with cute charm AND something with compound eyes AND something with pickup AND an egg AND something with illuminate and sweet scent.

possible Team order could be as follows

1 something with 'Frisk' and 'Theif'
2 male with 'Cute charm'
3 Something with 'Compound eyes'
4 Something with 'Pickup'
5 Egg
6 somthing with 'Illuminate' and 'Sweet Scent'

For example:

1 Banette
2 Skitty
3 Butterfree
4 Linoon
5 Egg
6 Ilumise

the pickup and egg are so if you have no luck at least you are doing something

The best way to train, in my opinion, is the Elite 4. It's how I train all of the time, works for me.

My Pokemon are now around level 75, but it's really going slow.

Æsahættr and Snorlaxmonster, thanks for the advice. I'm putting together a team and going Chansey hunting!

I say the E4 do it 20 times!!
Go see your rival on weekends at battle area
His pokemon increased about 70's another handy way

Used over two weeks to find that damned Lucky Egg, but I finally did find it! Yay!

With that, training using the E4 went pretty quick, at least compared to how fast I did it back in the Blue/Red days.

So now I finally have a team of level 100's. Took them for a spin on Battle Revolution WiFi, and found out to my surprise they were all lowered to level 50 :goof: Oh man, I can have an EV-trained level 50 done in a day!

Anyway, WiFi battles were a blast. Even though most people used legendaries (I don't, out of principle), and obviously hacked legenderies at that (Darkrai, etc), I lost only one battle out of 26. Yay.

You need a lotta time, but purely concentrate on leveling one, it goes FAR quicker if you just work on 1. Battling the E4 is good; if you can, trade with someone and youll get a 1.5 exp bonus, which massively speeds up levelling. If they are low-lvl, then give them the exp. share, have 5 other tough ones and battle. They can go up 2 or 3 levels at a time battling the E4 - thats just 1 pokemon :)

I managed to get a Rayquaza on FireRed from lvl 70 to 100 in a few days, purely through the E4. Then again, the E4 (after the 1st time) are way harder (from lv 63 to 75).

If you've trained your pokeys in EV already but want some good tips look here.

Fire, Rock, Flying: Train it above Resort Area. There are 90% of the pokemon Grass/Bug.
Electric/Grass: Fishing is the best way. If you don't like fighting Gyarados, use your rage on Floatzel right of Battle Area
Dark/Ghost: Turnback Cave, but bring some escape ropes!
Fighting/Fire/Steel: Snowpoint Temple is your best choice.
Grass/Water: The sandstorm areas.
Ground/Water: Stark Mountain.
Ice: Above Resort Area at morning or day.
Psychic, Dragon, Normal: Go E4ing and Vs Seekering!!!
