Light Pulse vs. Delta-Plus

Anyone know the official rule here? Player A has Latios EX active and uses Light Pulse, which (in addition to doing damage) says "prevent all effects of your opponent's attacks, except damage, done to this Pokemon during your opponent's next turn. So let's say Player B then knocks out Player A's Latios EX with a Pokemon that has delta-plus, which means "take an extra prize card." Is the delta-plus ancient trait considered an "effect of an attack that does damage," or is it an "effect of an attack" that doesn't actually do damage so it gets blocked, or is it not even an effect of an attack at all since it's an ancient trait?

In other words, does player B take two or three prize cards?

I'm pretty sure "effects of attacks" refers only to the effects listed in the attack description. I might be wrong, though. You might wanna ask in the "Simple Question/Simple Answers" thread to confirm it.
