Invitational premiere reveals preview for thirteenth movie: Ho-Oh, Lugia to star in movie

Today, randomly-picked subscribers of the magazine CoroCoro were allowed to view the premiere of the twelfth Pokémon movie. People who went to the premiere have reported that they were allowed to see a sneak preview of the upcoming games Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and the next Pokémon movie.

It would be better without Lugia, and without recycling the same plot they've used in the last three movies AND Ruby and Sapphire.

The teaser trailer means absolutely nothing other than who will be in the next movie. I swear if they have another movie all about firing attacks at each other I will kill someone.

Ho-Oh gets to star in its movie<3 Lugia on the other hand, got its spotlight in the second Movie.

Hopefully the focus will be more on Ho oh than Lugia and it just serves a complimentary purpose for Ho oh.

I hope that CotDs are minimal. It would be nice to have a movie where everyone gets to join in including Takeshi and TR.

The chances of having a new Celebi Forme as the event Pokémon have just been substantially diminished. Considering that promotional movie Pokémon are downloaded directly, it is also considerably unlikely that Ho-Oh and Lugia will have alternate forms, since those would require special items.

Don't forget they announce the event Pokemon much later than the "secondary" Pokemon. They could still do "Ho-Oh vs Lugia and oops we forgot it's Ho-Oh vs Lugia vs Celebi now.

120 minutes of Sacred Fire vs Aeroblast at eachother while Ash and Celebi try to get them to stop, because it's yet all another misunderstanding. Aww.

I'm not even sure why these two would fight, considering they used to LIVE together.

Correction: They announce the movie's token previously-unseen Pokémon in February. That wouldn't be Celebi.

And if Morty and Jirarudan were in the same movie (and possibly Eusine as well)...

Several randomly picked subscribers of the Japanese magazine CoroCoro — in addition to the webmaster of the English-language site PokéBeach — have been allowed to view the 12th Pokémon movie in advance of its July 18 release date. People who went to the screening have reported they saw a sneak preview of the upcoming games Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and the next Pokémon movie — featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia.

I hope this is true, we've been waiting over a decade for Ho-oh to finally get a proper debut in a movie.

I hope they explain its connection to Ash as well, I would feel cheated if Ho-oh finally got a movie but they never touched on why Ash always sees it.

For the record:

- Ash sees Ho-oh in first episode
- Ash sees Ho-oh during the last eps of Johto
- Ash sees Ho-oh during the Battle Pyramid eps in Battle Frontier.

And this is on top of Morty's Gym arc explaining Ho-oh's history to Ash, and the various flashbacks to Ho-oh throughout the series. I remember Ash told Dawn he met Ho-oh too.

Really sweet, now we FINALLY get a pokemon movie with Ho-oh in it, which has been in the anime since episode 1.
