Links and Smilies

They used to be different, links opened in a new window and the smilies were decent. Now the links open in the same window and the smilies suck. Is there a way to change them back?

The smilies haven't changed at all. Oo; I don't know what you're talking about with the links either. Which links?

Pie has added a couple, but that's the only difference I can think of.

Actually I added two Brock smilies and a Jirii one. But I think Dani's talking about the post icons aka the ones that show above each post, those suck big time.

I can't recall links ever behaving that way. Of course, I always used to right click and "Open in new tab" whenever I clicked on a link in a topic.

That's what I've been doing (except window instead of tab cause I'm currently using IE) but when it opens a new window by itself it's more convenient.

I have Firefox on my computer but this isn't my computer so I'm stuck with IE for now.
