little icons below usernames?

I've seen people with these little icons below their username (depicting ash, misty,brock etc.) and just wondered what they are?

I've been curious about these little icons too. So how are user groups different from social groups and who can join them?

User groups are just public expressions of something--giving you the little icon. Social groups don't get an icon. Anyone can join a user group.

I wanted to join a couple, but what are you supposed to post in the "reason you want to join"? :sweatlol: "Because I want the cute little icon" seems so... Lol, I don't know. It doesn't sound like the right answer to give. :XD2:

So, I was accepted into a couple of groups, but the little icons aren't showing up... :bawl: What gives?

Then Palkia is such a usergroup I want badly. I have IRC now but just can't get to the Systemnet chat. Who do I contact about this and is it some IRC Operator?
