My little sisters have recently started playing Pokémon and I think that it's really adorable. They're pretty into it, wanting me to play with them all the time. They always mispronounce the names (they're only 6 and 8) like for example for Caterpie, my sister said "KAAAYterPIIIE." I rolled. Anyways, just wondering if anyone else has younger siblings just now getting introduced.

My 6 year old nephew just recently got a DS and a copy of Black Version for his birthday. His sister wants a copy for her DS too!

Just for fun, you should show them Red/Blue version and have them play it for a bit and see what they say and think. :'D

My friend's son that I babysit every now and then has taken a liking to my Sapphire. Since I don't play it anymore and he's turning 7 soon, I figure it'll be the perfect birthday gift for him.

Last I checked, he's up to the third gym with a well balanced team. Can't say my first experience with Pokemon was the same *looks at her level 48 charizard before she battled Misty*

My little sister is obsessed with my Sapphire game..I'll probably give it to her as a gift at some point too.

my 6 year old brother and it takes him for hours ........ to do one thing

My 6 year old brother has a DSi and plays frequently.

He knows the names of most Gen 5 pokemon.

My little cousin got Pearl a while back. She has boxes upon boxes of Bidoof and decided to skip the Fighting gym because she didn't "feel like it".

I keep on having to help my sister get to places. She'll be back in Oldale Town and so I'll be like "This isn't where you're supposed to be.." and take her to say, Rustboro. 20 minutes later I'll check where she is again and she's back in her room in Little Root Town. It's hilarious.

My sister stopped playing Pokémon years ago and I'm going to wait at least a year or two before introducing the games to my brother, who's only five. He watches the show occasionally so he can name a few Pokémon.

I let my 5 year old brother play LeafGreen. He loved it, but since he doesn't know how to read yet, I promised him that when he does learn he can have my game. He also has a few pokemon toys and cards from McDonalds. He can't say their names right, (even though I try to correct him) he calls the ones he has "Sand-i-o, Resiwam, Pikasu, Zowua, Ossawot. It's really funny to listen to him try and pronounce those names.

My little brother occasionally plays my old copy of Pokemon Stadium 2. I don't really bother to help him or watch him though.

...In some ways, I kinda wish I could get my cartridge back. And every time I keep sneaking off with it, my parents would find it and bring it back to him. *Sigh* I'm that selfish.

My 7-Year-Old sister is currently playing Pearl, though she keeps asking me when she'll get to catch a Pikachu because those things, according to her, own every other Pokémon in sight.

My 10-year-old nephew has started to play Black Version, 5 days ago. He's always telling me about what pokémon he caught, the Badges he obtained, etc. Plus, he's always bugging me to battle him, even though my team is way too overpowering. :p

My 3 year cousin doesn't play it yet and can't play it yet, (because he doesn't have DS) but he seems to be into it. When he's older, I might buy him a DS and give him one of my old Pokemon games as a gift.

My cousin had a son last Saturday, so when he's 6 or so I might give him one of my old Pokemon games. That is, if I'm happy to give it away in six years time.

My sister (Reshizek) became obsessed with Pokémon last year, about three months after me.

My brother got his 1st game when I got mine almost 10yrs ago lol though since he couldn't read very well he would always get stuck and he lost interest (he had silver) now when I got my heartgold he wanted to give it another go and got soulsilver, but he still has a hard time reading and has yet to get his 1st badge :( amazingly though, I looked at his old silver and he had all the badges in johto o_o he just never knew where he was supposed to go after that :O

He is also playing Colosseum and XD: gale of darkness off and on over the past year or so.
