I wonder if Liza & Tate are easiest Gym Leaders in Pokémon Ruby. I defeated them with two moves! They event couldn't use their Potions and single move!

Breloom uses Mach Punch- Lunatone's HP cut to less than half
Blastoise uses Surf- both Solrock and Lunatone fainted.

It is a joke? Or a glitch? They're just to easy. Note that each one Gym Leader before I needed a rematch to defeat them!

Nah, they were pretty easy in RS, but in Emerald I had a really hard time. The Claydol refused to diiiiiie. >.>

IMO, they are the toughest till date in Emerald.
Most of RS was sweepable, so same here.

But before, also in Ruby, it was harder. How they could be easier even than Norman?

Im sure they are if your using a traded blastoise. U are brave using a breloom with a 4* weakness against phsycic. I thought they were harder than all the other gyms. They fainted all my pokes exept gardevoir.

I guess you are using Emerald. I don't think if they were difficult in Ruby...
About Breelom... Whoops. I forgot that.

I sort of get the feeling they were planned to be easy, because Double Battles were seen as a novelty, and they weren't sure if people would be up to trying this new thing out "for real".

But if they should be easy, shouldn't they be a previous Gym? Let's say, 5th. They are much too easy for 7th Gym.

In the same respect, I thought Winonna was easier (to get to at least, damn maze) in Emerald. But I will agree that most of the RS gyms were pretty sweepable; I got my last badge with only my Swampert D:

Really, If they just have all of thier Pokemon out at the same time, then it's pretty easy to crush them with one move, like a STAB Surf.

In RS, for some reason, even though I chose Torchic, I had a really hard time beating Norman the first time around. Although, yes, a well placed Critical Hit on my Ludicolo's Surf was more than enough to take care of Tate and Liza.

You use Mankey or one of the Nidoran who have Fighting moves for Brock in Yellow.

Liza and Tate are either easy as hell or a pain. It depends if you kill them before they use Sunny Day to shut down SUrf or not. Use a high level, relatively fast and powerful Water Pokemon and you'll wind with relative ease. However, the battle is a nightmare if they get out a Sunny Day as many of their attacks are powered up by it.
