Location of Movie 15?

You know how every Movies Location is based on a real-life Location found in the world, right? (maybe not EVERY Movie)

But for the 15th Movie, which Location do you think or wish it might be based on?


Because its my homeland and hasn't been used yet, I would choose Denmark, the Island of Bornholm. The ruins Hammershus could really be a good place for inspiration about an old fortress/castle, which reflect BWs all Kingdom-ish style.

Of cause Denmark has alot of other pretty places which could inspire, but really Hammershus would be a good place


So where do you guys wish it would be?

The last 5 (I think?) Pokemon movies' location were based on European countries so I was hoping for a change..Maybe an African landscape or Asian inspired setting. The next movie will likely feature the 3 Musketeers and Keldeo so I think an African landscape would be fitting since Virizion, Cobalion, Terrakion and Keldo are based on animals you can find in Africa.

I know you thereafter said "Also, what ideas do you think could work for future films, like locations" but... yeah sorry :b

Seeing how the next movie will more than likely feature the Three Musketeer Pokemon + Keldeo, I wouldn't be surprised if Movie 15 took place in a French location.

I am getting tired of the European locations, as beautiful as they are. I'd really like to see one more themed on other continents.

I'd like to see something like that for the Meloetta movie. It would fit her well.

Maybe somewhere in a big city? A coastal beach town? I like Frugrow's idea of a movie taking place in an African-like setting. The city/town could be based off of Cairo or Nairobi, and you can have a random stretch of savanna, jungle, and/or desert nearby too!

That's what I was thinking. It's odd that they didn't save France for Keldeo. Although, I could also see England being used a location for the Muskadeers as well.

I think an urban setting (be it Las Vegas or whatever) would suit Meloetta a lot more.

I believe it should be in a jungle. A place like Brazil will be good.

I really liked the idea of Africa, with deserts and savannahs. But IMO, if Keldeo is in it, it should be a place near water, because I really want to see Ash riding on Keldeo over the ocean... wasn't Keldeo able to do that, just like Suicune?

Also, remember what the musketeers did. They protected Pokemon from humans. It should also be a place that has a feeling of protection!

It doesn't even need to be based on a city or town, it can also just be based on a place, like my Hammershus, where there could be a little town near it. But maybe all the BW movies might be based on France? :3

If the 4 Musketeers will be featured, and France can't be used, the UK is the last option. They could easily pick from any of Britain's castles (there's loads).

There is also alot of castles in Denmark (and other places for that matter)

I'd love if it was based in Portugal. Coimbra - my city - has a tremendous amount os beautiful places, mainly because of it's history as a place of students, there are many awesome views related to our University, which is the oldest one in Europe.

Speaking of the Muskadeers, has Germany been used yet? It has some nice castles and medieval architecture, not to mention a few cultural festivals every year (Oktoberfest included, lol). Or they could actually use France for the Muskadeers' movie.

I'm pretty sure movie 8, which funny enough also takes place in a castle, was based on Germany xD

I definitely agree with the earlier suggestion of Africa. I'm a bit bored of European towns and castles. So either Africa or somewhere incredibly alpine.

I adore the landscapes in the movies so I've no issues with what they choose, but I would like to see Norway as a location since it's just very, very, very pretty.
