Longest Masuda Method

I've been trying for the past two weeks for a shiny snivy via the masua method. I'm already at 700 eggs with not 1 shiny my question is, what was your longest try at the masuda method or how many eggs?

I hatched like 500 eggs and never got a shiny tepig... But I did get a shiny snivy after 7 and oshawott after 20.

Ouch. >.< That sounds like my Roselia run in Emerald, only it wasn't a Masuda. But it took eight months! :sweat:

My longest run was my Golett run: 2,800 eggs and four months. It felt longer than it actually was because so many others had gotten a shiny Golett by random encounter or they hatched it in a few days, etc. It seemed like my little Guardian was avoiding me!

But when the little guy hatched on that day in April, it was so worth the trouble. <3

I dont breed Masuda method...I don't care if pokemon are shiny or not
(but the most eggs I have gotten from the "specifications" of the method[two pokemon from different languages] was 3, no shinies)

Hatched around 900 Ralts eggs with no luck, eventually got one on the GTS, but it was female. So I gave up. I'm now on a 560 egg streak for a shiny Pansage.

Im on tablet, its hard to me to help you, sorry.
But, on-toppic, I dont usually count the eggs. Right now I am "masuding" for a shiny dweeble for two weeks. If you ask soft resets, i already did more than 3000 for a shiny starter in johto and got nothing...
