Looking for Call Ins!

Hey guys, the crew and I are looking for call ins for Episode 15 next week. We'd like to get a few more than we've had so we can get more interaction. We'd be grateful if some others could call in and ask a question so we could happily answer it. Your questions can be related to anything in the Pokemon fandom.

We're looking forward to hearing from you all. If you are able to join us on Skype for our recordings, make sure you're available on Saturday Night during the hours of 8PM EDT to 3AM EDT. Recording probably won't be that long, but it'd be nice if you were available during those hours.

If you have any questions regarding calling in, PM either me or anyone else that's in the BulbaCast crew.

Just to let everyone know, there's a good chance I may be going to an anime convention this weekend, so I might not be able to participate in the Bulbacast......

But if, for some reason, I'm unable to get the transportation and hotel room needed for the con, then you can expect to see me. If that happens, then I know I'll be able to particiapte in this Saturday's cast.
 
I'm afraid I don't have Skype so I can't appear on the cast, however I do have a question;

In the Diamond and Pearl Pal Park, do pokemon traded from the GBA games keep their original nicknames or do you have to rename them?

I'd assume that they keep their nicknames. The Pal Park is just like trading over a Pokemon via link cable, so everything should stay the same. :p
 
I've got a question about the dongle method, too... If I don't get the chance to call in, since I sorta want to, but I might have to go somewhere, here it is...

Does the dongle method of getting old Pokémon work before the Elite Four are beaten, or do you have to wait until after to, for example, get a Weedle in Eterna Forest with FireRed in the GBA slot?

Skypes no problem, (I have it already as I used to feture in a UK nintendo podcast)
 
It's hard to get call-in's from the UK and such since the cast starts at around 3-4AM GMT. :x
 
I live in the UK also and am geting Skype for other purposes anyway so I'll try to stay awake on a holiday sometime if I can.
 
Hey, I'd love to call in sometime-- I love the program, and I think the interactivity of it all is the most awesome thing ever. I only recently started listening to the podcasts, but I immediately fell in love with them :3

I just need to familiarize myself with skype, so once I've done that, you have a sure-fire caller to deal with.

Thanks for all your hard work in the podcasts, guys! Please keep it up and don't stop!

(Also, on a completely unrelated note...You're from Costa Mesa? :O I used to live there, and now I live about 20 minutes from there, lol)

XD awesome. I'm going to an art school in Costa Mesa, so I've only been here since September. I really like it here ^^ except it doesn't rain enough :p
 
Yeah we definitely need more rain that's for sure, lol. I'm going to a communiy college near my house here so heh. :p

ANYWAY...BulbaCast is tonight around 8PM EST. Hope everyone who wants to be in can be here around that time. Join [HASHTAG]#BulbaCast[/HASHTAG] on IRC an hour before to just talk around if you'd like. :p
 
Well, there's no reason that this should die. :p

We're still in the hunt for new faces for call ins. It's nice to have the same call ins since they give great questions, but it would be nice to hear from new people around here, and hear your thoughts on a particular issue. :)

This weekend is no different. We'll be doing the Call-Ins portion of the cast where we call you via Skype. We record on Saturday nights around the hours of 9PM-12AM EST (Eastern Standard Time). If you can join us around then, we'd love to hear what you have to say. Speak your mind! That's what the BulbaCast is all about. :)
