Looking for Slakoth- Any Level

I am playing White for the first time and I really want a Slakoth. I been watching Chuggaconroy's Lets Play with Emerald and he just looks fun to have. Problem being as I am not that far in the game and it is unavailable to me other than trading. Also my current normal type on my team ( Audino ) is really starting to fall off with it's usefulness. I want to have one before I beat the elite 4. The main problem is I really don't have anything to offer back as I am not that far but I do know that later in the game there is a place where you can catch them wild. If that is too much to offer, just being able to see one ( so I can GTS trade for it ) would also be great.
