In the early '00 Game Arts (which is well-known for Grandia and Lunar series) created a cute-looking project called Pure Dragon with the characted design done by Atsuko Nishida (which is famous for her work in Pokemon series and Pulseman, her latest work is Hometown Story which will be released soon for 3DS and she also design the cat-like creatures Carro in Grandia II). Back then it was a friend of mine who found out by chance this project while he was looking for anime and video games galleries at the college. And these are all the pictures I downloaded from Pure Dragon official site wwww.puredragon.com (which now doesn't works):

Years later when I tried to find info about Pure Dragon in english (unfortunately I don't know japanese) I only found an ancient thread I opened at Minitokyo and this article (also very old) on IGN where they only had info about the characters' profiles:
What Is Pure Dragon? - IGN
As a fan of both Game Arts and Atsuko Nishida I always wondered what kind of project was this. Was it a children's merchandise? A video game? An artbook with manga 4koma?
For a little bonus here's an interesting article for Atsuko Nishida:
