Or at least, I think it's new - I don't think I've heard of this particular glitch before.

Anyway, on my game at least, the search results for Gabite are messed up. To start off with, the trainers are arranged like blank-Youngster-Ranger-Ranger-blank-blank-blank, which shouldn't be happening - there ought to be at least one more guy on the right. It'll actually let me select the blank space on the right, but doing so crashes the game and gets me a bluescreen and "A error has occurred. Please turn off the game.". Trying to select the Youngster just freezes the game. The other two guys seem to be fine, though.

Has anyone else seen this?

I've had this problem a couple of times. It's kinda driving me nuts @_@ I think the results for Espeon are the same way, or at least they were last I checked. I try to work around it by switching the searches up by gender or level.

Well, nice to know I'm not the only one who's seen this. And I just checked again - results for male Gabite are still messed up, but females are fine. Espeon seems to be fine, too;.

I've had this happen a couple of times during my nightly Golett runs. When I was looking for any Golett level 21-30 in Japan, the results came out as a Lass on the lower right, two blank spots, a pair of trainers and another blank. When I selected the Lass, I got the "An error has occurred. Please turn off the game." message with the top screen completely black and the touchscreen blue. Had to skip that search that night. Similar occurrence happened with a Golurk run, only this was level 51-60 in the US and I got an error message after selecting a female Ace Trainer.

As of late, everything seems fine but it did confuse the heck out of me.

Yes, I have seen this about three times now. However, for me the game just freezes; it doesn't say "A error has occurred. Please turn off the game." or anything else.

The first time there was indeed a blank spot, which caused freezing when touched, but yesterday the same thing happened when I selected a spot with a trainer in it.

I don't remember what I was searching for, but it definitely wasn't Espeon or Golett. (I did have Espeon in my party and tens more in my PC, but I doubt that matters.)

This first happened a few weeks ago and I've done hundreds of GTS trades before, so it seems like a new problem.

Could it be the game's way of punishing you for hacking, though? I recently received a shiny Alomamola that was clearly hacked (caught at level 100 on Route 1). I didn't even want it, I was just not paying attention.

I doubt it. I've been GTS spoofing obviously hacked 'mons to my game for a while now (Sturdy Shedinja, anyone?), and this only just started for me now. The fact that it only happens for certain species and can be worked around by filtering the search results makes it look to me like it's a problem with the results themselves. Perhaps it's what happens when someone uploads something so hacked it breaks the system (somehow), or maybe the data on those Pokemon got corrupted or something.

More the reason to redo the GTS from the ground up. There are too many problems with the GTS in my opinion.

I don't think I have met any glitches yet. Sometimes, I think the issue is on the other side's end, since the issue is so consistent... I just hope that it'll get fixed sooner or later. It's hard when you have to handle a lot of users in the GTS, no? I find online glitches... routine, so I'm not too surprised by it.
