Creative talents have always been one of my most notable qualities (in my opinion) - my way of expressing this creativity is art, it's like a passion that keeps me sane. In addition to that, it's self-expression, self-development, experiencing the joy of creation and seeing the result of my handwork. :) Is it original or fan art, it doesn't matter as long as I'm interested in it. Any feedback is appreciated, too; feel free to leave a comment, like or dislike, or just constructively criticise - if it makes sense it'll be an awesome advice to take under consideration for improvement!

pokesketch002.jpg

I practised drawing some mega evolutions, shiny mega Gardevoir turned out great but this mega Lucario's a bit messed up. I guess I lost my focus in the middle. I liked the part when it was time to mess up Gardevoir's gown and hair.

Some of my favourite Pokemon, (mega) Houndoom, (mega) Manectric and Arcanine. These Pokemon are based on ones in my games and so, nicknamed after some deities and legendary characters - I believe the concept of ancient deities might be related to ET experiences, that's the story behind the starry and cloudy background.

I know, I'm hopeless. :/ Others' interest in them might pass, the fanwork related to them might be soon forgotten, the people who first introduced these characters to me aren't a part of my life anymore, but I won't abandon my favourites only because other people find something else to hype about.
I'll just use my own creative mind for a change and have a long list of everything I like - what I hype about depends on my crazy mood, but I will never forget!

greninja.jpg

I got inspired by having that dream of Greninja and this was the result of quick sketching. My scanner didn't like the light lines and I was too lazy to strengthen them.

Maybe in the future, I'll be showing something more finished, like inked work or something I've colored too. For now, the school is keeping me waaay too busy.

MOAR. I DEMAND MOAR!

Man are you good! Your style is amazing, I love the way you do fur and your shading skills are top notch!

Only criticism is Mega Lucario's arms are disproportionate to each other but you did say you lost focus so that explains it xD Also Emmet's right hand is a little odd as he's not quite gripping the stick thingy but other then that all the pieces are awesome!

Your demands have been heard! ;D

But first things first; thank you for complements and criticism - I find them both encouraging! I'm actually surprised about that you find my shading good - I didn't pay attention on it much. And if you liked the fur, you're gonna like my Meowstic too!
And true every word about hands; they're the common problem area for me. At least I'll have something to practise even more in the future too. :)

megamegamewmewtwo.jpg

Mewtwo's both megas and the normal form + Mew. I had another variation (less furry, more alien-like) in mind too, but I haven't been able to do anything about it yet.

idealsandtruthreborn.jpg

I formed a pattern in my mind how Emmet and Ingo would be possibly connected to the "truth and ideals" theme. Their personalities, colors (reversed positions if compared to ancient heroes or the dragons representing those themes) + their likely signature Pokemon (Eelektross and Chandelure) and how Zekrom and Reshiram are part electric + fire too. The brothers are a good example how truth and ideals can coexist and work well in harmony, but sure there's always difficulties. I partly blame and thank your N-themed avatar and sig for reminding me of this idea pattern I had.

The sketch isn't so good however, Zekrom's head especially and no shading. I just wanted to get the idea out my head. Maybe I'll draw a better version someday in the future...

meowstic.jpg

Double Meowstic. I'm quite satisfied with this one except that I screwed up some areas with the ballpoint pen.

As excellent as before :D! Loving the fluff as I never imagined Mewtwo having fur.

That's a very interesting theory about Emmet and Ingo, it is possible they are related to the two kings like N possibly is. But that's just a theory, a game theory!

Your work is great, I think your proportions could use some work but they're not bad overall. Personally I find the M-Lucario, and M-Gardevoir image to be a bit stiff pose wise too but I think learning to loosen up with your drawings will be a huge asset for you down the road. I love the amount of detail you put into your work however, it shows dedication and I would love to see more from you.

Thanks for the feedback and comments again, much appreciated! :)

I agree on stiff poses and proportions even as I'm not anywhere near precise when it comes to those - however, practise makes perfect, or let's say, it's the key to an improvement as I don't acknowledge perfection's existence. ;D I could really use a program which would allow me to define a pose for model. I get an awesome picture in my head, how it should look, but on the internet there's nothing like it unless I'd spend hours searching for one. Or then it's something that doesn't give directions. And during the sketching, my awesome picture in the mind fades away. :/ But I could stick with practising poses in general for a while. Thanks!
