"Lots of Pikachu" 3DS theme coming to Japan: To be available February 14

The new Nintendo 3DS theme "Lots of Pikachu" will be available for Japanese region Nintendo 3DS systems on Feb. 14, 2015.

It's always Pikachu. Why does it ALWAYS have to be Pikachu? Why can't we have themes that feature something like the final forms of the Kalos starters or Megavolved Hoenn starters? Or, if they want cute themes, why don't they feature something like Eevee in all its cuddly glory? Pikachu focus has to be the worst thing about this franchise.
 
When it comes to themes, I'm an advocate of "less is more." There's too much Pikachu going on (well, too many Pikachu lol). So far my favorite of the Pokemon themes is the Slowpoke one. Hopefully they come out with a more understated Pikachu theme, and they give the spotlight to more Pokemon as well.
