Loveless vol. 8

Anybody else out there read Loveless? I don't know about you, but I'm excited for Volume 8. It comes to the states on September... 6th I believe? It was released in Japan in February, so it's been a long wait.

Just wanted to see if anyone else reads it, or has seen the anime (which was also great).

I did see some of the anime, yeah. While I wouldn't say I directly disliked it, it was kinda... icky. 25-year-old men trying to get in the pants of 10-year-old boys isn't really my favorite type of entertainment.

I read/watched it. It's not bad, but not my favorite. It gets a little too absorbed in it's own angst, which isn't my preference, but it doesn't overwhelm the story so it's still enjoyable.

Yeah, the subject matter is a little "icky," as was mentioned, but the origonal manga definately handles it better than the anime did after it. I wish the anime had gotten into more psychological detail of the characters, because then the viewer would understand better why Soubi is the way he is, and understand his attraction to Ritsuka.

And I guess it does get a litte angsty. I didn't really notice it too bad though. But that's just me.
