LOVELY BOY - 7th movie ending...bad?

ok, i read on some site that the ending song to the seventh movie 'L-O-V-E-L-Y - Dream Seeing LOVELY BOY' was unpopular amoung the fans, for its ''bouncy tune for a Pokemon movie''. my question is, why was this song bad to the fans? I like the song.

I like it too. I guess it just depends on your attitude towards cute upbeat Jpop. I like it (and Tommy February/Tommy Heavenly as well), and it's one of my favorite Pokemon movie songs.

Honestly, I've never seen the problem with it.

It's not that I dislike cutesy songs (I like "Lapras ni Notte," "Bouken no Hajimari da!", and "White Dance"); it's just that for whatever reasons, "Lovely Boy" just doesn't... work for me, I guess.

Though I wonder: maybe part of it is that some people aren't looking at just the song itself, but also its surrounding circumstances. I mean, maybe they found it jarring to have watched an OMGepic action-y movie, then they get to the end to find... cutesy Jpop. I myself prefer the sadder/slower/"prettier" tunes.



Also, "yumemiru" would be more appropriately translated as "dreaming."

I hated it at first, especially since I was living in Japan when the Deoxys movie was coming out and was therefore bombarded with it every time I entered a convenience store or electronics store. With that said...it actually kind of grew on me after a while.

I'm not a huge fan of the animation that went with it in the movie (Burshamo with pompoms...WTF?), but the actual music video for the song made me laugh for some reason.

It sounds like it was straight from the 80's-the decade some of the best Pokemon music was written!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, that also happens to be the reason a lot of people don't like it.

I don't like it. I like the orchestrated version of it, but not the vocal song of it . . it's just gross sounding to me xD

It's an okay song although I felt it didn't go with the movie. This post gave me the urge to rewatch the strange PV that came with it (never did though). The video for this song was the one with the British theme and the random Pikachu right?

Yes, that's the video.

As for my feelings about it, I actually like that song although I do feel that that it was a weird song for that movie.

As for the song itself, it's different. I don't like it nor do I hate it. It didnot go with the movie however.

This song is fun and happy, Tommy February6 has a nice style in music. It was weird to hear it in a Pokémon movie though, but it wasn't bad for it.

There *is* a soundtrack for the movie...in fact, there's a soundtrack for every single movie released. And Lovely Boy just happens to be on said soundtrack.

Really never saw one until the ninth movie well I'm normally buying stuff at playasia cause I know no similar Exporters for Software or Music CDs and Amazon.com as far as I know don't ships to Europe.
