Okay, I have heard this song before in the 7th movie, but never heard the whole song till I got the CD yesterday, so am I the only one who likes it? I think it is mindnumbingly cute and I can't help but like it.

Also, who is the singer and does anyone have lyrics?

The song took a few listens too for me before it finally grew on me, but I do quite like it now, it's a nice bouncy feel-good song ^^

Sweet. Your the like the only person I know cept Animelee(Whatever happened to him?) who likes the song.

Lovely Boy is the incarnation of evil in 'musical' form.

Although the instrumental of it is withstandable.

I love it!!! It's my second favorite movie ending theme, behind Toi Et Moi. All the people who hate it are crazy ^^.

It's sung by Tommy February

Here are the lyrics.

I hated the song when I first heard it (especially since I was in Japan at the time, when they would play the song in every convenience store and shopping center in the country). But it's actually kind of grown on me in a sick and twisted way.

The music video, at least, is good for a laugh. What with the toy soldiers attacking those guys who are hitting on Tommy February 6 and all.

Is their Enlgish versions of the lyrics?(Even know most of it is pretty much engrish!)

I can't really see what the big deal is about. It's certainly not my favorite by a long shot, but I don't dislike it either. :/

I like it enough to have had it in my car. It's not my favorite pokemon song by far, but I don't see why people are so horrified by it. Maybe my former Nsync fangirlism left me immune to the evils of pop music.

It's easy to get horrified by it. Listen to the version used in Movie 7 (with Pikachu, Plusle and Minun). It's extremely annoying and repetitive. I have nightmares just thinking about that song. Even the instrumental makes me cringe due to the fact that it reminds me of the original version. As for the music video, those 2 japanese dancers really freaked me out.

It is so bad that it is the standard unit for evil music.

You can empirically measure the evil level of a piece of music by finding out how many people would rather listen to LOVELY Boy than the piece of music. 1LB means that 50% of the surveyed would rather listen to LOVELY, 0LB means no-one would rather listen to LOVELY and 9999LB means 99.99% would rather listen to LOVELY.

I have a subtitled version of the music video, if anyone wants it. PM me or find me on AIM ^^.

As mentioned above, the singer is Tommy February6 (whose real name, I forget, but she also sings in a popular JPop band and also goes by the other moniker Tommy Heavenly6)

I saw the music video, scariest thing ever. Yet, somehow satisfying.

I was wondering, could I post a request for a diffrent song lyrics? Instead of posting a new thread? If so, I was wondering if anyone has the lyrics to Ware wa Collector?

Except Polka O Dolka.

Really, I don't mind LB. Then, I also found Napoleon Dynamite funny, so there you go..

I have had a look there for lyrics to battle frontier
i hate to say it but they do not have that either

I think the reason everyone hates Lovely Boy is because it's so different from the other movies' ending themes. Up until that point, the songs had all been mellow, slow-ish, and very melodic. They were pretty songs that really brought the movies to a nice close.

Then, all of a sudden, we get the super-poppy Lovely Boy. It's the same kind of pop you'd hear in the first movie dub, and the animation behind it shows pokemon like Burshamo and Metagross wielding pom-poms. It threw people off.

The song isn't any more poppy than, say, the Lucario movie ending, but it gets more flack I think because it was the first movie ending theme to be so poppish.
