We got four electric type gym leaders so far, and I don't think there had been a poll like this anywhere.


1. Who has the best Character Design?

2. Who has the best Gym Layout?

3. Who has the best Team?

4. Who was the most Challenging? (who gave you the most trouble?)

This was a really tough battle for me, since I really REALLY love all the Electric gym leaders ('cept Wattson... he's boring).

1. Elesa, of course. One of the most unique character designs ever seen in the series.

2. This one was really close, all were really challenging in their own way. Although I loved the fun of Elesa's rollercoasters, Volkner's puzzle was a great challenge for me, so that's my choice.

3. I'm gonna have to give this one to Lt. Surge. Wattson's was simply boring (Emerald didn't do too much to fix that), Volkner's was good in Platinum but the random other types in DP made no sense, and Elesa's was average.

4. Definitely Volkner.

5. Elesa. She's by far my favorite Gym Leader in the series so far.... there's something captivating about her that gives her my overall vote.

1. Who has the best Character Design? Elesa. Havn't had a model before.

2. Who has the best Gym Layout? Elesa again, because the amusement park was a great idea.

3. Who has the best Team? Volkner.

4. Who was the most Challenging? (who gave you the most trouble?) Wattson, during my first playthrough.

5. Who do you like best? Elesa. She's really nice when you speak with her.

So overall, she wins.

I usually stick to the originals because that is where I started Pokemon, but I will have to say that Volkner's style, fashion and Pokemon seem a lot better than the others to me. He just has that "spark" (pardon the pun) about him that the others don't have for me.

2. Elesa's was fun, but Surges full on annoyed me.

4. Elesa. GOD DAMN VOLT SWITCH

Don't even know why i did this. I knew who was going to win.

1. Elesa, she looks hot

2. Elesa, an in-door roller coaster is a rare sight on theme parks

3. Volkner, with his Platinum team

4. Wattson because of Magneton's steel typing

5. Volkner, can't go wrong with the Minato look-a-like

Elesa, I love her fondness of puns and the fact she becomes a role model for Bianca in B/W.

I like all of them, but it's definitely a three way tie between Lt. Surge, Volkner, and Elesa. I'd say for design though then Volkner, but for gym layout and which one gave me the most challenge then both go to Elesa; the roller coaster layout was neat and fun, and admittedly she gave me a bit of a hard time during her battle with her damn Emolgas and Volt Switch.
