Welcome to the sixteenth instalment in the Lost Tower Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the older installments of the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Every Monday, a Video Games staff member will post a new poll that'll remained stickied up on top of the forum. Suggestions for polls and questions can be sent to Joshawott, and they could possibly used for new polls (credit will be given, of course).

With that out of the way, here is the poll: What is your favourite Hoenn Gym Design?. Ruby[/b] and Sapphire were known for their rather extensive Gym puzzle designs, such as Wallace's walking-on-thin-ice (he obviously was, as Juan replaced him in Emerald xD) or Flannery's hole puzzle, which made Johto's look pretty bland in comparison. Which one was your favourite? This poll was suggested by Chimchar15.

Carrying on my opinion of Winona being one of the best Gym Leaders in the games, I'll have to say Fortree City's Gym. When I walk into a Gym, I don't expect to be able to simply walk up to the Gym Leader - I expect there to be some thought involved in getting to them, and, most of the time, trying to avoid the various trainers in the way (mostly because I can't be bothered to battle them, and, a lot of the time, run back outside to heal my team afterwards). Fortree's puzzle actually had me confused the first few times I tried it, and it wasn't a puzzle that I could memorise like the others were. Compared to the other Gyms in the region, especially Norman's (which isn't creative at all - walking through doors? Sweet), I think it's the most interesting, and challenging.

The Petalburg Gym. It's easier to navigate than most, but each trainer is fairly strong, I like the Dojo design, and knowing what kind of battles lurks behind each door helps with preparation.

Starting to believe I hold a bias towards that area but I gotta give it to Sootopolis' Gym in terms of design and puzzle. I let myself fall to the bottom on purpose just to face Wallace/Juan's underground harem.

Personally I think they're all pretty uninteresting but Flannery's gym was my favorite. I really like the steam geysers.

Definitely Fortree Gym - There's something I can't put my finger on about it, it was just so clever! It wasn't even that challenging but it left such an impression on me that I used to go back and just walk through the gym when I had beat the game. ^^;

Norman by far. It is hands down the most unique gym in the series.

Every other gym featured some "soup cans" task, but this one put a spin that directly affected the battles themselves.

... I feel kinda bad for cheating it using a Shedinja the first time. I couldn't enjoy it at its fullest.

Fortree Gym was the best one for me. I loved the style and atmosphere of that gym and it's in my favourite town of Hoenn. ^^

Sootopolis City's gym was always my favorite in Hoenn. The city itself was incredibly beautiful. Fortree is a close second.

It was definitely the Sootopolis City puzzle. I had a lot of fun trying to get past it. :D

Fortree, those rotating doors were fun. Petalburg and Lavaridge are good, too.
