Friend Ball. It prevents the tedium of increasing a Golbat or Chansey's happiness in order to evolve them. I don't trust the others to work better than Ultra Balls.

The Fast Ball, there's more fast Pokemon in Gen 2 than slower ones.

 

[Blue Dragon]

I like the moon ball and that is based mostly on it's appearance more than the usefulness of it in catching Pokemon.

 

[Almonds]

The Heavy Ball cuz a lot of legendaries are heavy in HGSS. Besides, I caught my Lugia with just four heavy balls without ever resetting the game.

I feel like a lot of these pokeballs are mainly novelties not really used throughout the game but I do kind of like them, while I have no preference I just have fun making them all the time.

i like the look of the Moon Ball best. Not very useful, but design-wise, it's great, now if i could only get an Umbreon in one Dx<

The only one I actually found somewhat useful was the heavy ball (good for legendary Pokémon), so I'm gonna have to go with that.

Only one I really used in GSC and HGSS was the Heavy Ball, so I'll say that one.

Fast Balls. Used them to catch Raikou, which was driving me insane.

I like the Moon Ball, merely because I think it looks cool.

The Heavy Ball looks cool as well.

The heavy ball, since they helped me catch a ton of legendaries in Gold version, plus Snorlax.

 

[Figgles]

Heavy. It's quite interestingly unique, in that it adds to the catch rate, it doesn't multiply it. This is really useful for lower catch rates.
